In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed - ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).
In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

Being human, Stevie has had her share of life’s pitfalls, Cocaine addiction , etc. Yet she has conquered them all and is STILL the sexiest woman on the planet! Even after running with a litany of fellow Rockstars, eg. Mick Fleetwood, Don Henley, etc. she is still blessed with poise, grace, talent and beauty.

I love this version. She expands on it and puts some intonations in that the original lacks. Masterful concept, masterful writing, masterful performance. It deserves to be in the Library of Congress Best of American Music.
The original lacks nothing. Fleetwood Mac couldn’t write a bad song in their prime. A lot of backing track here.

I av nightmares still, bcos I ran but I left behind 2 othr, 2 young lads who subsequently ended up being found in a house in Whitstable, but not alive u see, in d eighties , u went 2d Police 2 say u were being abused at home, n got told" go home n behave yrslf" so I ended up lookn 4 love in all d wrong places n walked in2 crap. I were 15 at d time, d boyfriend I had, I introduced him 2 both set of parents, who didn't bat an eyelid n jus let me carry on!!??!! D guy were 36!!! I've never had luck in my life 2b honest, only recently splitting, cos d geezer turned out 2b a Nasty Narcissist! Fink I jus stick 2me cat! 😆

👍 I’m almost 70 now and have always ❤’d ALL genres of music - vocal and instrumental. There are many artists/musicians who have ‘similar’ sounding styles and somewhat resemble one another, BUT there’s only 1 Steve Nicks! Her raspy voice is so unique that I could recognize it’s Stevie immediately after hearing her sing the first few lines of ANY song. She’s got one of the all time greatest voices imo, that hasn’t changed much either as she’s aged (like many others). I’ve been listening to her and Fleetwood Mac since they first began, and doubt I’ll ever stop! 👏👏

When you become an old fart, 60 might even be considered "young stuff". :) I know a lot of 60 year old women that don't look as good. But, then again, you have to have something to work with. Stevie Nicks’ talent, songs and music is my most favorite! My love for her is prior to Fleetwood Mac. Buckingham Nicks album is a classic. Stevie and Carly Simon have been with me through the good and bad times. This lady, along with my supporters, helped me through chemo and radiation. The radiation team knew my love for Stevie and Fleetwood Mac and would always play their music for me. 🎶💜🎶
