Sly 1 just got released the 11th of June
The Sly Collection is playable for premium members it can play on PS5
The PS2 Jak & Daxter games have been on PS4/PS5 since 2017, also The Lost Frontier and Daxter PSP games got on PS4/PS5 recently
With the first Sly added, it wouldn't be surprising if they added Sly 2 and 3 🙂
The Ratchet and Clank PS3 games should be too.
Honestly, I'm perfectly content with playing the remasters of Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Sly Cooper, Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider Legend and Anniversary, and Ico and Shadow of the Colossus on my PS3. It might be a dated console by comparison, but it's still a classic and served as a blueprint for the PS4 and PS5.
I would, however, love it if remakes of Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Ape Escape 2, The Getaway, Soul Reaver 2, and Herdy Gerdy were made

@@zachtwilightwindwaker596 Yes, why not? It was one of my favourite games on the PS2. I loved the idea of a darker approach to the series due to Shadow being more of an antihero compared with Sonic. I loved the replay value, I loved exploring Shadow's tragic background, and I loved that you play as a hero or a villain

@zachtwilightwindwaker596 Most were critical about its darker tone and mature themes. Some people think that being darker automatically means that it's not appropriate for younger audiences, even though The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Kung Fu Panda 2, The Dark Crystal, His Dark Materials, Batman vs Dracula, and even Shadow the Hedgehog have proved them wrong

Getaway and Getaway Black Monday were such great games. Sure, they were clunky, but the graphics back then was astonishing. The mood and atmosphere, especially in the first game, was refreshing compared to other GTA type games that usually always had some sort of comic or goofy part to them. This was just a moody gangster story, and back then it felt like being in one of those early 2000s action movies.
Plus, it was one of more immersive games back then, having no hud, no bullet counter, and sorta unique healing system.
honorable mentions: urban chaos riot response, spartan total warrior, rayman 2 and 3, peter jackson's king kong, ghost rider and if i'm correct i think there are even soul reaver games of ps2.
The two PlayStation 2 games I want to be ported to PlayStation 5 would be the punisher and crash tag team racing 2005

@@tyleracuna2567 no man that's different that's crash team racing this is tag team racing back from. 2005 where you can merge both your cars together and you can shoot your. other opponents and this was the first introduction Chuck and stew the chicken sports. commentators and the same for Pasadena opossum and van clutch as well

I agree with ratchet and clank ape escape 3 and twisted metal head on extra twisted edition but we also need sly 2 and 3 and mortal kombat deception and mortal kombat Armageddon.
I would love deception to come out. Also, by the way, Sly 2 and 3 are coming out reportedly rumored for October for Sly 2 and early 2025 for Sly 3. Hopefully, it's sooner than later.

Shadow of Rome is the only ps2 game I want on ps5

There are rumors about an upcomming remake of Sonic Heroes.
I definitely heard of that, same with a remake of Sonic 06, let's hope both happens one day, whilst I'm still young and alive
Ghost Rider, Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, Lord of the Rings, Goblin Commander.
I know you can buy Revenge of the Sith on the Xbox Series X as I have it and it's still as hard as it was back in the day when it first came out on the PS2 and the Original Xbox, that Mace Windu fight was hard

The ps2 games I want is Star Wars Revenge of the sith,Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks,King Kong game,X-men Legends,X-men Legends 2 rise of apocalypse

That's too funny, as I recently talked about Champions of Norrath. I was taking someone on how this one of the first video games I played with my nephew when he was young and helped get him into gaming.
I loved this game. I played it multiple times, trying out the different classes
I wish Sony ported or made a remaster or remake of Sonic Heroes, Gran Turismo 4 & Burnout 3 Takedown to PS5. It would be a dream come true

Sony should release PS2 games on the PS4 more often. There are so many old gen games I really want to play (the rest of the Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper series are on top of my wish list).

4:52 God Xenosaga trilogy is already super expensive now. They deserve to be on all systems like Klonoa collection did as a remake, which is a miracle, thank you Namco! Switch might work since Kos-Mos and T-Elos become Blade partners in Xenoblade 2!
8:38 Bloody Roar franchise seems pretty done by Konami but who knows if it will make a comeback. Which is why I decided to get the Gamecube version couple years ago.
12:04 well I'm covered, decided to get original Sonic Heroes on Gamecube. Still haven't finished the game since I haven't collected all the emeralds for each team. Heard rumors it was going to get a remake, but turned out false. Honestly I rather see a full on remake of Adventure 1 and 2 with updated graphics and the current voice cast similar to Generations. Or more like a remaster like FF7 Crisis Core did but still tweak the gameplay.
15:46 Lucky to have Simpsons Hit and Run, along with Road Rage. I wouldn't mind a remake or port of Hit and Run, cause most of my wireless Gamecube controllers don't seem to work for that game, the rest are fine, even Road Rage so I kept one wired controller for that.
17:08 I don't think Ape Escape 3 will ever get ported due to having the Metal Gear mini game for licensing reasons or Japan Studio being gone now. So I bought it on PS2. Ape Escape 2 was lucky to get ported on PS4 and I have the Psp version based on the classic on Vita. And while Metal Gear Solid 3 remake is coming, there's low chances they'll ever bring back the Ape Escape missions since the MGS 2 & 3 collection ports don't have that compared to MGS3 disk 2 on ps2. That and the nightmare sequence was taken away when you're stuck in prison after booting up the game.
20:28 With Silent Hill 2 making a comeback as a remake, maybe good chances with 3 as well.

22:26 well I was lucky to replay the God of War collection on PS3 and deleted the originals on ps2. Even did the same for the PSP collection on PS3. Perhaps all 6 games (III and Ascension) Might come as a huge "Greek" collection on PS5. So far Soul Calibur Broken Destiny featuring Kratos is now playable on PS5. Surprised not for Mortal Kombat 9 though.

Def Jam Vendetta and NBA Street Vol. 2 were my personal favorites
The only Simspons game I played was called 'The Simpsons: Bart vs. Space Mutants' on SEGA Genesis. I remember it being so hard. I will definitely try Hit and Run someday.
I enjoyed Hit and Run as well as The Simpsons game that had you literally do a DDR fight with God
You forgot High Moon Studios first person shooter western Darkwatch. Anyway, as long as they add in new trophies to earn I’m all for these PS2 classics showing up on my PS5.

Shadow Hearts Covenant is my choice. Spawn in Demon Hands is another from a different console.
Good thing those ports are direct emulation with absolutely no censorship.
The PlayStation 2 fighting games I want to come to PlayStation 5 is Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore, Guilty Gear X, Tekken 5, SoulCalibur II, and SoulCalibur III.
A few of my choices did make the list, but in terms of others, Sonic Riders, Sonic Riders Zero Gravity, Shadow the Hedgehog, WWF Smackdown Just Bring It, Stretch Panic, Scooby-Doo Night of 100 Frights, Ultimate Spider-Man, Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc, Ratchet & Clank Size Matters, Secret Agent Clank, Wave Rally, Dragon Ball Z Budokai Trilogy, Budokai Tenkaichi Trilogy, Spyro A Hero's Tail, Crash Twinsanity, Legend of Spyro Trilogy, MegaMan X Command Mission, and possibly some Japanese Exclusives
I think they are giving us the PSP version of Ratchet and Clank Size Matters.

There were some of the best video games during the 2000s. Such as the God of War franchise, Simpsons Hit and Run, Sonic Heroes, and many more.
But as a long time Comic/Video Game nerd, Ultimate Spider-Man, Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction, Ultimate Alliance, Ghost Rider, X-Men Legends, and Spider-Man 2(Raimi) are long overdue for a remaster on the PS5.
How did Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction not make this list?
I would love to see the Ratchet & Clank series on the PS5, but I’d be just as happy with a remake of the Xenosaga trilogy. That game doesn’t get nearly enough love, and it would be great if more people could experience it. My old copies were stolen, and I’ve been dying to play it again for years. I know I’m not the only one.
I think Dark Cloud 1 and 2 should also get a remake for the PS5 as well.

Having Dragon Quest 8 on PS5 would be great. I really would like to have a second chance of playing it.
The best part of playing old games is it was a complete game right from the get go and no evil microtransactions or pay walls for content you just had to play the game.

Sonic Heroes was the very first Sonic game I ever played. It’s what got me into the series. I would love it if it became available on the PS5.
Drakan: The Ancients Gate would probably look and play amazing in todays tech!

Yep I agree with spongebob and the simpsons. After I played cosmic shake, I wanted spongebob the movie to get like a rdmake for the ps5. I would like to play the simpsons hit and run and road rage on ps5. I never played hit and run though. But I just may have to play these on my still working ps2 slim. Also, bully and rayman raving rabbids would be a nice one to play too.
Yeah. Xenosaga along with Sonic Heroes and Tales of Abyss would be great games to play, but what I want to the most is a remaster for Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. Especially after beating Rebirth, I mean Vincent is one of my characters in 7.
Hot Shots Golf 3 is a game I want on PS5. The games zany comedy as well as its excellent controls make it a highlight in the sports gaming genre. I would also like to play Sly Cooper 2 Band Of Thieves.
Champions of Norrath was more like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance and it's sequel, than it was to BG3.

All I ask for is dragon quest 8 I played on my friends PS2 and then beat it and the dragon trials on the 3ds one of the best draqon quests I would also love 4 and 5 to come to the switch.

Besides Sonic Heroes, the Xenosaga trilogy, the Harry Potter ps2 games,the Sonic Riders games and a few other ps2 games I would like to see on the ps5 another one I really want to see is Yugioh Duelist of the Roses.
Right after Daxter came out, everybody, and I mean everybody said that the all of the Jak and Daxter series is on PS4 & PS5, which is true, but, only Daxter and Lost Legacy have an actual port for PS5. I do hope that the other 4 games get a PS5 port that comes with another trophy list and rewind features to boot.
That Sonic Heroes gameplay is from the Gamecube.
Resident evil outbreak Files 1 and 2 are missing from this list, and honestly should be top 10 on this list 😅

Other games I would like to see come back, that are not included on the list, would be both Godzilla fighting games (Save the Earth and Unleashed) and Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. With the Godzilla games, it was fun getting to fight with and against the different monsters from throughout Godzilla's history. As for Dark Legacy, it is my favorite game of the Gauntlet franchise. I had lots of fun with that game, when I was younger, and I wish I could revisit it.
SteamBot chronicles, disaster, report and raw danger. For those in the know Raw danger Is the sequel to disaster report Plus, all three games have the added benefit of being made by the same company

I don’t see the issue with the cloud streaming….me personally it’s not that bad you just need a good internet connection. I’ve been playing ratchet and clank up your arsenal through the cloud streaming and it’s not that bad.
I would love for hit and run to come back but unfortunately I don’t think the studio that made it is no longer in function so I don’t think we’ll ever see it back, we’re stuck with the ps2 and GameCube versions I believe and for SpongeBob I wouldn’t mind seeing lights,camera,pants maybe?
We need Punisher (PS2) don’t change the narrative or dialog. And Matrix: Path of Neo. That game was awesome.

It would be great is they brought the good gow games to ps5.
Now the Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus is now on the PS5, we just need both Sly 2 and Sly 3 to be on the PS5. Oh and can we have Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, Soul Reaver 1 and 2, White Knight Chronicles 1 and 2 and of course, Dragon Age Origins, 2 and Inquisition on the PS5 as well?
