Hi what sway bar and lower boxed control arms did you use? I want to put one on my 69 Buick Skylark Custom.....Your video is a little dark we can't really see what you are doing clearly but the sway bar looks nice....

The arms came on the car I just purchased the sway bar kit on eBay it was just over a hundred bucks for the bar and mounting hardware. Here is the eBay item number 352210816201 if you wanted to check it out, Parts Place is the company selling them.

The car came with a factory sway bar so the stock arms had mounting holes in the correct place to mount a new bar.

Did u drill holes in the rear control arms, because my chevelle dont have holes to mount that bar.. if so please mention that

No mine had holes, it depends on if your car came with a factory rear sway bar if it didn’t you have to drill holes or buy a pair with holes.

I thought I would have to drill the holes for my chevelle but it turned out my control arms were in backwards. Holes were in front.

Was that a 7/8 diameter? Did you need to use shims ? Thanks

    • @atomicspeedgarage

It was a 1inch diameter, it came with shims but I didn’t seem to need any.

No the car came with a rear sway bar from the factory so the mounting holes were already there.

Definitely it kept the rear of the car from body roll and rubbing the tires.
