Bought a front and rear sway bar kit made by Belltech. Honestly didn’t know much about them over other companies just was close in stock and priced the same everywhere else. Really won’t get a chance to drive it without the rear sway bar as it’s been over 15 years since I drove the car last (parked for body work prep then semi abandoned till now). Really wanted to get a better idea of how they help and if my purchase was worth it. Thanks for the informative video on installation even if mines a 69 ford. Much of the suspension from that era while not the same are pretty much identical in setup and use.
I just ordered front and rear bars for my lsa supercharged’74 nova…..was the front one a pain in the ass to get in? Do I have to drop the A-arms on either side
I wanted to ask a question on how you attached it on the passenger side. It looks like it is not tight against the frame on the passenger side but it is on the driver's side. Is that true and why did that have to happen? Is that right and is it still tight and working properly? Thank you.

You incorrectly installed the frame mounting brackets. Step 9 clearly states to mount the SHORT LEG to the frame rail. You also need to turn the frame bolt so the nut and threads face outward to avoid hitting the stabilizers cup washers at the top of the link. I confirmed all this with Belltech technical support. Thank you and a remake of the video is Essential to show correct installation process.
Actually the positioning of the L bracket can be mounted either way depending on application since there are variances with every install. I had also confirmed that with belltech. Which is why one side is longer. Good observations tho, thanks for watching!
@@automotiveantics Actually the angle brackets have a bigger hole on the long side and a smaller 1/2" hole on the SHORT LEG side. The 1/2" bolt must be mounted through the 1/2" hole just like you drilled into your frame. John Carnell at Belltech technical will confirm the correct way and only way is to mount the SHORT LEG side to the frame rail. Send them a pic of how you installed yours at info@belltech.com and engineering will get right back to you with their opinion on your installation. Thank you

I didn't drop the A arms but it would probably be easier. I definitely had to fight to get it in

Everything is tight and working great! I even went back and retighten everything after a couple miles

Kinda want to do that on my 66 cadillac. But i’m alergic to drilling holes in classic cars so i need to looknif i have holes somewhere
Trust me it's worth it. Just drill the hole haha. If you don't I'm sure the rust will eventually find it anyway haha
