@kxlphz I personally don't like r34 but we don't really know her exact age, or anyones in the game, we could make sensible guesses due to how things have changed compared to how they must have been in prime hallownest and I'd assume hornet is an adult considering how well she's handled being the protector of hallownest but we don't actually have any confirmation iirc.
The original cloth looks more voluminous maybe a full 360 circle cape or better thicker and stiffer fabric reactions (but maybe the silky effect is on purpose lol) Really cool and very well done 😊

I'm a beginner at Blender and your videos have inspired me to make models of my own. ❤ I made a Dratini yesterday after many hours of trial and error (mainly because the ears were so complex to make while maintaining good topology and no knowledge of sculpting.) and while it's not perfect it was certainly fun! Would be it possible for you to make a slowed down version or show the raw footage of you modeling something to follow along and learn a bit of the tools and shapes you commonly utilize to make these models and renders? I know you mention the steps in the video but being able to see the keyboard shortcuts and modifiers applied with the full Blender HUD would be very helpful!

I think that the front on perspective of the head modeling makes her head appear rather flat at the end, like i always viewed her horns as having a curve down slightly instead of just straight back? Not sure how to explain it but theres slight details that alter when you go from 2D to 3D.

But using Boolean is destructive modeling, non destructive would mean, he inserted a face, used loop tools to make the shape circular, and then extruded it to make the same hollow shape the boolean did, this method will not break the model in any way, and give you a clean topology. Booleans tend to give you a messed up topology, that becomes a pain in the ass when you don't plan your modeling well, and u have to make some adjustments in the future😢. He is a master at what he does so he can do it pretty much how he likes it😂.
