That is the year model Trans AM that they did the Knight Rider series with. Those wheels are what was on Kitt. They are missing the center caps.

shit more then that from it everything but the body was good on that car. sucks to see some ones baby like that they rebuilt it from frame to body mouts.
I know it's not necessarly your wheelhouse, but a lot of car guys like me would love to see you rehab and modify older cars like these as content since we lost that good Saturday TV time on SpikeTV.

You should check out the Saab they are amazing cars to drive and they usually don’t go for much

The Monte Carlo from the passenger side looks bent front to back. The rear and front are high compared to the door area.
That Monte has no frame damage, that just needs a front clip and maybe roof
Maybe a very little on the drivers side front. I had a1987 cutlass that got hit on the passenger side front fender near the bumper it shifted both frame horns towards the driver side.Ever one said it was a goner but my body man straightened the frame out and didnt have to even heat it up to do it.She rode again! My cutlass had the euro clip much sought after!
Factory A/C car, but compressor deleted for the engine swap. The open ports on the receiver/drier, gives that away. Original LT-style SBC put the compressors passenger topside. The alternator on the later Vortec swap displaces that, obviously.
Interestingly, what you observed in the roof and sail panel is typical of most, if not all G-bodies of this vintage. The Regals were famous for it, especially the turbos. I've owned several of these cars, and they actually had some filler in these areas from the factory. I don't think there's as much non-factory filler there as it might seem.
My guess is, if anything, this car might have had a factory vinyl top that was removed and more filler was used to hide the signs.

I worked at a Chevy store when that Monte was new and it is hard to see one like that.

I got a body man that would do all day within a weeks time if you have all the parts, Just last month he had a SS Monte Carlo it is shop with a guard rail ram threw it in the car completely split around and damage every part on the car except the deck lid, and the roof .. within a weeks time when I went to check on my car, I look at the other Monte Carlo there, and it was damn near completed. He was just waiting on the guy to bring back some more parts because the parts he had purchased was crappy.

I own a 1986 MC LS.Although the one you looked at looks rough someone would love to have the chance to put her back on the road. Or it would be a wealth of parts for someone. If you get a chance to get a G-body definitely do it because the have a hugh following. Good luck finding that euro header panel as they are rare. I kinda dought that was a $30,000 car pre accident, Maybe half that at best.
The engine and tranny doors and trunk lid and rear bumper $$$ The interior seats, dash instrument cluster etc $$$
@@markchwalaI know it's kinda hard to tell but it looks like a six banger in there. A donk with lots of aftermarket stuff (seats and rims etc) so looks like an engine swap was done too....might run again but idk🤔

I would just buy that Monte Carlo for cheap it looks like that engine's pretty good and it's got a lot of hot rod parts on it and you probably part it out and make your money back that's why the price is so high
The firebird would cost a fortune to restore. My friend is restoring a 85 IROC & he's having trouble finding parts. They quit manufacturing so many parts. Im sure someone will buy it & make a Night rider car 🎬🙆. Salute Randy 😎

You could also get a 4.6 fuel injected v6 that ran like an 8 I think they call them now vortec v6.Olds made a cutlass Salon which was the counter part GBody.

Give the ole f150 a good tune up and general service and she's good to go
If those driveshafts are not available in the parts yards you may end up taking your old one to a driveshaft shop for duplication.
