- This video shows the detailed process of installing Bixenon HID Projectors in the Vstrom 650 XT. The projectors are 3 inch and 3.2 inch respectively. 55 Watts ballast and 4200 Kelvin Osram D2S bulb were used.

It wont make issue for the oncoming vehicles intil and unless light focus was kept too high

Though you make it sound simple but very complex and time consuming, hats off to your passion, skills and patience. One question, I have been trying to upgrade headlights of my Z900 and have been told that HID's are outdated and consumes too much power, seems it's not ?
HIDs indeed are old technology and consume power and produce heat, but the 'usable' light is much higher than LEDs. LEDs are also evolving very fast and soon we will have yellowish LEDs which will replace HIDs eventually.
Till then HIDs rule as kings as they have extremely high output and that yellowish-ness of the lights make them very usable in all type of conditions.

I used 2 high quality LED bulbs and the change was worthed. Cheers and ride safe.
It was totally worth the effort, time & money. The difference is too much and almost impossible to show on cam.

It's a 4200 kelvin ... So it's warm white
