Excellent choice brother. One of my favorite bikes. Just returned from a 2.5K mile trip fully loaded and the little DL pulled like a champ. Was on a super highway going 85 mph for hours in 105 degree F heat to 10K ft mountain passes and I was impressed. Had a white '17 650 wth 40K trouble free miles. Now have a '22 black 650 Adventure. Talked to a service tech and he told me one rolled in with 300K miles on it. Original engine, Basic maintenance. Ride well and be safe.

I am considering this vs 650 xt. And my my biggest worry and concern is the lower bash plate / sump guard often banging on and getting stuck on illegal sized speed brakers found Spxly in mumbai / maharastra.
Pls share ur experience and opinion on the issue.

I would like to ride this bike as well as the CB500X as these are the two in my consideration.. - However I wonder if the VSTROM is too high at my inseam as I'm right at 5"8..

If you have 29 inch and up inseam then your good to go
CB500x is at a different class than v storm 650. Both based on power and based on cost. Tbh the 500x is way overpriced.

Motorcycle looks superb!!! The problem of owning superbikes is that there is a chance of it getting stolen or damaged.

Insurance is all there. But still if the motorcycle that we buy with our hard earned money gets damaged or stolen, most of us go thru a lot of stress. And I don't think insurance will compensate the entire amount that you would need to shell out in case of a damage or theft.
Agreed however theft fear comes with everything, bas bhai yehi keh sakta hoon ki girne ke darr se bhagna nahi chorna kabhi..

Because I am planning to buy pre-owned v-strom.
In pre owned market you will get around 7.5 to 8.0, depends on model and condition, mine has only done 3400kms and it is 2022 Oct model.

Not much
Vstrom is a great bike. Very reliable. But strange the dash board is oldish. No mobile connectivity etc. Less electronics means low failures is not exactly right. You shud try KTM adv motorcycle. I had KTM 1190 ADV for many yrs. Not a single failures. It was a fully loaded motorcycle.

Price difference between Versys and this is too much . BS4 mein price near tha , but BS6 mein difference 1.5 L ho gaya. Same difference rehta toh sale double ho jata.
Hanji price diff to hai par woh justified hai main batata hoon aapko detail mein..
Yehi baat hai jo bahut log nahi samajh paate bhai, Versys 650 ka pehle to look proper adv nahi hai, tyre size 17 inches hai jo bike se propionate nahi lagta, second us mein tubless spokes nahi hai jo zyada ache se road and off road ka vibration absorb kar lete hai, third Versys ka swing arm chota hai, fourth Versys mein top heavy hai, fifth Versys ka power isse kam hai and torque as well, Versys ka belly exhaust hai aur uski sound bhi itni achi nahi hai, Kawasaki ki servicing, maint and spares expensive hai, Versys ki ride quality aur Vstrom mein bahut diff ajata hai plus Suzuki is most reliable, India mein logo ko pehle sasta lekar baad mein kharcha karna zyada acha lagta hai.
Honda 500x, Africa Twin, Vstrom 650 tabhi India mein kam aur bahar zyada sell hoti hai..😊😊

Woh hota toh bhi sale double ho jata. Price k wajah se Honda 500X bhi nhi chala and yeh bhi nhi chal raha jitna yeh deserve karta hai... BS4 zyada chala tha for sure. .. Aapka mention kiya sara factors mujhe pata hai .

1 --> Japanese technology has this low sound output coupled with whistling sound. We see that in your bike, in f1 RB engine etc. Its wow
2 --> what you can make even better comparison is RE 650 vs Suzuki 650. Would be fun to see
3 --> Biking is relatable with fun and fun is largely subjective. Somebody like quick shifter and somebody isn't bothered. Would be a great review with non tech bike vs tech bike (ownership)
4 --> Most of all that we Indians forget is *we take bike thinking its consume and shoot* and likely more or less forget about *Maintenance cost* that could just evaporate your love towards the bike.
5 --> last and not thr least, post sales support of Suzuki or Honda etc are miles ahead in comparison to triumph or RE. We just don't consider these aspects and repent later.
6 --> Closing line, hence the seconds rate for Suzuki or Honda are much linear drop-down than thr likes of Ktms or RE or Triumphs..
Overall a nice video and the JOSH is clearly visible with Suzuki as compared to RE 😬😬😬😄😄😄😄😄

Kbhi kbhi lgta h government unnecessary tax lgati h competition pe or indian companies hume bewakoof bnati h bekar product k sath.

Best mirrors ever put on a bike. I'd put them on my Z900RS, but they'd look out of place. Adventure bikes don't need pretty mirrors. Functional is the key.
