To disable ABS on V-Strom, follow below steps.
1. Normally start the engine and ride for some time, until the ABS light goes off in the dial.
2. Stop the motorcycle only with the kill switch and don't turn off the key.
3. Load the motorcycle into the center stand.
4. Make sure the rear wheel can freely rotate.
5. Turn on the engine.
6. Pull the front brake lever and gear to 1st then 2nd until ABS light flashes again.
Now the ABS is disabled until you turn off the key.

Wheelbase has been the same since 2012, It actually feels better to ride now especially compared to the Gen 2 650. The F850GS and CRF1100L have much larger wheelbase, in comparison . USD suspension is for the DL1000 only and those Kayaba are plenty plush for a Tourer. Long travel suspension is usually reserved for dirt bikes, scramblers and bikes with a 21"-18" wheel setup and they are not comfortable for long distances. Play with the spring rate and the fork oil weight before doing any permanent changes. If you do not like to tip-toe, try the V-Strom 1000. It is narrower at the middle. Top ends are never great in V-Twin bikes, their design is for fat low-end torque. Whether its a 1584cc Harley or a 650cc Suzuki , its all about the Torque at the low end. For power anywhere else, its a triple or a 4-cyl. The buzz you felt, is the engine because V-Twins have lots of character. Also 8800 rupees for a regular 6000km service is a rip-off and 25-27kmpl on highway is very low. If you hold 80 at 6th gear it will do 32kmpl easily, on the V-Strom 1000. In the city, its just fantastic. Peak hour no fuss, flood who cares. Just feed it low octane petrol and it will keep going.

CB500X is only bike gives 32kmpl mileage with highway ( 110 kmph speed) ......
Comfortable cruising in india from my experience.....
60 to 80 for State roads
80 to 110 for most of Indian NH highway
130 to 150 for NE highway ....
Their is no any more than 600 cc bike suitable for India .....
CB500X is good for touring in india with good enough speed and service cost also less than other bikes 👍 ..... And light weight .....

I'm the Honda fan but bought same V-strom. Nc750x feels like a good maxi scooter but not the motorcycle. And definitely NC doesn't suit for the unpaved road

I need to understand, if this vehicle was in your list, then why did you buy a sports vehicle?
if you want something then you should wait for it to be available.
My requirement was a good touring motorcycle with pillion comfort. And I am comfortable for sporty riding as well. Since I was already waiting for long, thought that I will drop one among the last choice.

Customers of Suzuki VStrom 650 have complained about the frequent faults with its crank position sensor leading to stalling of bike and not starting.
Wait what? This is the 1st time i ever heard of this and i own a 100,000km V-strom 650.
@@parans95 you took the words out of my mouth. The VStrom (especially the 650) is absolutely bomb proof. Literally nothing goes wrong. Ever. At least nothing that matters anyways.
You will hardly find any major fault in any Suzuki products..

This bike is not a star model in Suzuki lineup, there are problems with this particular bike and Suzuki knows it. Talk to a present owner and then think about owning this one or you might regret the choice you will make.
Never had a problem with any of mine and have owned 3 of the post 2017 model and covered over 30,000 mikes
