So glad your property/tiny home was spared! It must have been so scary and stressful while you watched and waited. I've always thought living in the woods would be nice, but I thought about the fire danger for that as well and not so sure now. I guess we all just have to do the best we can wherever we live and learn about all the safety precautions for the area you live in. So glad your place was spared. Thank you God.
How spooky to go through something like that. So glad it’s all ok now. God had a hand in saving your place. Prayers for the huge loss that others experienced.
Sonoma County here ... Kern might have it's own ER alert thru text, landline. Calfire, Fire Activity Map, Alert Wildfire (I think you mentioned Watch duty). Our board of supes did RUclips and zoom to get info out. We've lived thru many floods, earthquakes and now wildfires ... definitely the scariest. Stay safe.
Yeah man thats why I brought it up a few videos ago about keeping fire fuel away from your home. I was a firefighter for some of my career and have worked a lot of brush fires, if you can keep that fuel away from your home it really helps a lot. Also when you go to move that brush be extra careful of snakes, that is their habitat, not only that but the fire will have displaced a lot of critters and they will take refuge in brush piles. In my area I find usually one snake per brush pile. I just got bit by a copperhead for the second time in a 2 year span, thank goodness both times were dry bites but this time i got more of the poison and its been rough. Hoping you guys get through all this man, I know how helpless it can feel.
Yeah Billy… I’m motivated enough NOW to do exactly as you said!!! LOL 2 Copperhead bites in 2 years??? That’s crazy… man…you very lucky ! Where were the bites?
@@7sigmaoff-grid first one on 2nd finger on my right hand, 2nd one was on the heel part of my right palm. A glove saved me this time, it shot most of the poison between the inside of the glove and my hand. Best I can figure is the fangs went through the glove and it started releasing the venom and just the tips of the fangs went in my hand, i had venom on my hand when i pulled the glove off. I never even saw the copperhead, it got me while I was cutting down small trees at ground level after I had been clearing away brush with the tractor bucket. Ive been bit around 6x by black widows out here too, if it's poisonous its on my property, plants, reptiles, and insects lol
Fire fighters are truly the unsung heroes of our world. Glad you and your property are fine. 🙏

There’s a YT channel called Kathryn’s World - Wildfire Tracking that can be invaluable when trying to get current info.
I'd get my house out of there when possible. It will keep happening in the future.
Thanks for the positive outlook🤣😂
Metal roofing and concrete wood looking siding.
Would be nice...
