This is amazing. I have an ‘85 FLHTC that I bought new (still in the crate) in the spring of ‘86. That bike has just over 300,000 miles on it now. It’s still a wonderful bike to ride. And this has 8,600 miles? The thing to remember with ‘85s is that HD made some significant changes to the motor half way through the model year. It’s practically 2 model years in one. Mine’s a late ‘85. Also; ‘85 was NOT the first year of the Evo. That was 84. As is often the case with Harley’s, they have overlapping, or transitional years. They made some shovelhead FLH’s right into 85. I hope someone appreciates this and keeps it original.

I have a 1985 FLHTC thats in the same shape, I bought it new in August 85 and in 86 replaced the seat with the 86 seat. Still turns heads,
