A survivor who came out completely unscathed... She's likely still in shock, full of adrenaline, living in the surreal and therefore has total recall of the nightmare. Not unusual about that. The fact that she's articulate and doesn't have to account for any other (survivors) just happens to be the case. Why we always seek alternative realities when the answer lies in front of us is an increasing annoying phenomenon.

There’s a family from NJ, who claims they escaped this collapse. They also give a very detailed description of their escape, and the whole family smiles through the interview? None of these crisis actors give condolences, or show any respect for the people who supposedly lost their lives in this tragic event! I used to test the ground for it's ability to carry load. Compaction density testing. Florida has huge voids, under ground natural aqueducts, and areas of organic material deep under ground.
All of those things can compromise a building. I once saw a building under construction have the elevator shaft sink while the rest was fine. The ground wasn't tested properly and we (I wasn't involved) were brought in as part of the investigation.
It could've been something like that here.
It also could've been a drunk person crashed into a pillar of an improperly built structure causing a chain reaction. It happened around 2 a.m.
It could also be about 500 other things but I'm betting it started with the earth below it.

To anyone who thinks her ability to remain calm and composed while she recounts what happened is evidence that she's a crisis actor: the human brain copes with trauma in very unpredictable ways in the aftermath of a disaster. No one is ever continuously distraught for hours on end. Sometimes the brain flips to autopilot, allowing us to speak and function while our emotions are on hold, and eventually we start to process things. The brain can even stop us from fully feeling physical pain following a traumatic injury while we are in an extreme life or death situation.

The building’s structure was faulty, whether there was a sinkhole involved or not. The 2018 report was pretty damning addressing the pool area and parking garage under the building including the damaged support beams in the garage where repairs kept failing. A former manager of the unit also said the parking garage was flooded in salt water every month during high tide, salt water is extremely damaging to concrete and steel rebar. The building gave out first in exactly the problem areas mentioned in the 2018 report, the poolside and garage..
