Lucky enough to own a condo in Florida. Unlucky enough to be in the one that collapses. This should not have happened, they had an engineers report calling for repairs from 3 years ago.
@@iamTruthify no the roof fix was unrelated to the other engineers report of the damaged building columns . @@deestout152 this dude was on WSVN7 channel 7 news in south Florida and that is exactly what he said.
They didn’t know what was happening at the time, give them a break!
So the daughter was laughing and said "I don't think I've ever gone down stairs so fast...haha hah". It's a slap in the face to those who lost their lives. Typical New Jersey family.
I'm glad to hear that family is safe. Those girls bunk beds were haunting me.
that whole building move holy crap i don't care about having a view anymore
I have no words. I can never imagine going out like that... The horror and absolute helplessness of it all. It's not fair at all! Those people never had a chance! I teared up when the mentioned the old lady ready to give up! It's not fair
I'm 30 and I've never seen anything like this in Canada or America. This is really shake up the building code/contractors worlds, we really can't be having shit like this happen again.
All newer buildings should be built with devices that monitor the concrete in case there's a crack then notification can be sent.
It looks like the whole basement of that building has the land eaten away at it.
Really a shock to see this happen over here in a building that's not even that old.
I TOTALLY AGREE!!
Imo I don't think most of southern Florida has a chance over the next century. The sea levels will continue to rise, that "land" has been ocean before, nature is ALWAYS undefeated.
@@lunarblackstar1 yupp unfortunately a lot of Florida will be gone if the ocean levels continue to rise. Idk how they would solve that issue, it's to big for a sea wall no?
M so glad they were able to help!
God bless,glad they made it
