Have you ever spent money that you really shouldn't have? Well that's me with this game. There really wasn't any cash in the budget for this to happen yet when it came out I couldn't help myself. I also had a driving urge to just stop editing this video and go back to play more of the game, and that's in addition to OTHER games I have which I don't know how to put down! That's actually one of the larger challenges of making videos about games, having to watch yourself play them when editing instead of just playing the game! That can also cut the other way too though. Like if there's some major release that you and everyone was anticipating then it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Not that I've ever had that happen to me! But if it did well then you're stuck forcing yourself to play a game you don't like to make rage baiting hate content, and while hate gets clicks I just don't find that it's a healthy way to live! I have done a lot of effective writing about the topic though, not DRG survivors mind you but other game(s) which I have conveniently chosen not to name. So rest assured if I choose to finally do what some RUclipsrs do, which is become a seldom published but hours long video essayist, You'll be the first to not know because of how the RUclips algorithm works. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this short video!
I admit to not having played the original DRG (I do own it) but I've been loving Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, I play a lot of these survivor-like games, and this one adds enough in my opinion to really stand out from the pack. I've got almost 20 hours in the game already. I am looking forward to seeing what more they add. Hopefully more maps, and perhaps more depth.
My friends and I have put so many hours into DRG proper, it's unreal. I had been wondering whether to pick this one up when I have the funds, but now, I definitely will!
Can you please elaborate on what you mean by “when I have the funds”. The game cost $10 USD and you must own some type of hardware to play the game along with internet and electricity which in total is hundreds of dollars. If you were homeless I would understand the statement but I really am wondering what boundaries you face in acquiring $10?

Im suprised that you havent made a video or have streamed bg3 yet.
Considering how Fortnite was originally a different game and was just rapidly recycled to fit the then current trend it did succeed to the point that the original game that was called Fortnite got its name changed I would say it is a good idea to recycle assets in a game which actually wants to build on the original :)
