Very true. He was a scarred, lost soul. And drowned himself trying to drown it all. One of the best songwriters of his time in my book. If anything, the genre is what held him back.
Too bad he couldn’t have fought his addiction off a bit longer. He would have realized how impactful his music was a bit later, most likely doing the casino tour thing. Jani and Warrant stood out amongst other hair bands in that it’s really well-constructed, well voiced music. The depth of the lyrics and music, even production was so better than the average. Shame on the rapist and his manager that ruined this man. What a loss. I hope someday it comes out who the jerks were. Whatever they contributed to the genre cannot even close to what they took from it.
There will NEVER be any better music than the music of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Music today sucks compared to that music. I'm 61 years old and I'll never listen to anything but rock, metal, and hair bands! Long live rock and roll! 🤟🤟🤟
I was born in 77 and was 12 when this was released. Back then i couldn't wait to "grow up" and my mom would tell me, "itll happen before you know it, but you might not like it and she was absolutely right. Everything was simpler and easier when we were kids. But greed and social media has utterly destroyed and rotted society.
Those days where the best, the kids today don’ t know what they missed, the tech world has made them web crazy and lazy. From the time i was nine i was never at home, always with friends having fun, we wasnt looking for trouble, just rocking out with friends. I tell my kids all the time to get out of the house, go have fun, injoy yourself, your only young once, thew look at me and say there’s nothing to do, lmao,,, Being a teen in the 80s was the best, rock on all my 70s and 80s teens.
It's politics and a question of would you sell your soul to the man below? Many claim they have....makes you ponder the bible as a history book instead of a collection of short stories. I have found it to be option 1. God bless all and Warrant rocked the ballad!!
I graduated in 1985. I love music. However, the 80's hair bands are the best to me. I saw Warrant and so many other great bands over the years. I didn't realize growing up how great our music was and how peaceful times were then. Boy, do I now!!!! I miss those days. I usally listen to Hair Nation on Sirius radio.👍
+Brendon Carmo Those boys had more talent because they lived and breathed guitar never putting it down practicing 8+ hrs a day and most taught guitar lessons for side jobs before they got big
All those rock bands gave so much of themselves to give us the rock music that still lives on here and in our hearts. Every lyric, guitar riff and solo, drum beat,, piano chord... framed those crazy but fun teenage years. We were blessed to be a part of all that. A much different world now. And for free I mean think of it when we were in the '80s we had to listen to it with the radio and all the ads and the annoying DJs who would have thought in 20 years we would have music live streaming online from a cell phone device! Come on this is bliss even though we have to live without the best of them we have the best of them for life downloaded or 20 bucks for all the music we can listen to! We've got to admit that's pretty rad even for us 50-year-olds that rocked hard in the '80s and the '70s were pretty badass as well!!!!❤🎉❤🎉❤😢❤🤟🤘❤️🔥🔥😎❤️💋🤟🥁🪄🌟❤️🔥🔥😎🤟🤘🤟😎
Absolutely agree, i Love Jani, knew him personally, he put me in the video heaven, such a sweet and caring person, miss him so much, greatest artist that ever lived😚💓
The way he treated fans was amazing. I was still in high school and thought going to Warrant was the bomb. Jani noticed me and kind of laughed. I still can't believe that ! RIP Jani Lane

There is nothing better then listening to 80 and early 90's music. It really takes me back to growing up as a child. The kids these days have no ideal what music is. :)

Turn off the radio and do a little research for yourself. This bullshit confirmation bias of "back in the day!" is so immature and idiotic. You are the problem, not the music.
My son was born in 94. He loves the 80’s music! Lol.... guess it’s because all this Mom did was listen to this music... loud!!!😉 Would jam the music while cleaning, cooking, etc..... I was very proud when I saw his music play list! He says he will always Love this era!! He is 24 now and owns his house, works hard, no kids right now......I’m blessed to have him and blessed to have been a part of growing up in the 80’s!!! ROCK ON!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I listen to "Hair Nation", channel 39, on SiriusXM quite a bit. They play this song on a regular basis. I grew up in the heyday of this music and sometimes you want to hear a good rock song with a melody, maybe even some harmonies. Nice to see that others, including those younger than me, appreciate the same things.
Miss Red/ Love My Hairbands!! Been with this era since I was 12 or so. My 1st album was Nazeth 'Hair of the Dog'....I am now 56 and wouldn't trade my Hairbands for nothing. Great MEMORIES to hang on to back in my days! Here quite often!!
Jani Lane was a phenomenal singer and songwriter. The same can be said for Tom Keifer of Cinderella. The Hair Metal Bands got a bad reputation. In the Grunge Era. That was not fair. They were awesome musicians. Looking back 30 plus years on. It's no question who survived. Hair Metal Bands inspired The New Wave Of Classic Rock Bands today.
IDK, why this has reminded me of a Def leppard song, Have you ever needed someone, I was 17,in 1988 when this was released, music, ppl, the whole scene has changed, 4 the worst, anyway, if you have a few, plz listen to, have you ever needed someone, let me know what your thoughts, and opinions are, I enjoy reading most of your post, and comments, especially the youngsters, telling how they wish they were 80s teens, yes it was a wonderful decade, friendships meant something, no internet, smart phones, no problem,ppl,4 the most part, were genuine, it's so sad, I have 2 teens, they listen 2,MGK, drake, NBA young boy, WTF, and they swear my generation, Metallica, motley crue, poison, g,n,r,the list is endless, is all big hair, no talent, all sounds the same, blah blah blah, I really take offense, 1980s soft, hard, metal, compared to most of today's music, IDK honestly,in the words of tenacious D....they all tried, but they can not kill the metal.anywho,,,peace, love and hair grease,,,,, and,,,,,,stay golden, pony boy's and girls, 😎🤔
What? You mean before you were told by the establishment and every special interest group out there, that you and everyone like you were the cause of all the world's problems? Yeah, I know.
Turned 13 in 1980 so my teen years were the 80's wouldn't trade it for anything those were the best days with the greatest music ever 80's RULE FOREVER!!!
I forgot about this song! Warrant had great tunes like this one, Uncle Tom's Cabin, I Saw Red...great lyrics, arrangements and definitely vocals. RIP Jani. Talented guy.
Just me It sure was music today and television just ant the same Look at what happen to Mtv and Vh1 it was such a great music channel now they are just a mess you agree ?
Agree....Seriously music hasn't been the same. Watching MTV was something to do when hanging with friends at home, back in those days. Besides... 80s chicks were some of the hottiest in memory as a teenager... damn u grunge for screwing everything up.
I was raised on hair bands(thanks mom 😊)and I love them! The music is amazing and the ballads are so heartfelt. Music these days doesn’t compare at all. There will never be another decade like the 80’s for music. It truly was the best in my opinion.
I met Jani and the Boys Back after the Chery pie Hit MTV By Storm.... Went to the Strip Bar And hung out wth them That Night...Down to Earth Good Guys..... RIP Jani.....
I never realized Mercy was a single mother. That adds a whole lot more to the song. Jani was one the best songwriters of all time!!! Warrant was the best of the "hair metal" bands, mainly because Jani wrote outside the box. Just listen to his chord progressions. He was truly unique for the time.
You know what's crazy, is that when bands like this were headlining, there were people our age wishing they could go back to the 1970's, because they thought the new hair bands were terrible! I didn't feel that way, obviously. I do think there are some bands that really shined in each decade. For the 1980's into the very early years of the 1990's, Warrant shined bright. They played often on MTV, I had their tape, also my mixtapes that my boyfriend made for me (we are talking 1989). I came here today because I found an old mixtape, and I'm making a Kickass mix on my youtube channel with all the songs from this mixtape, and a few extra like this one. I'm sure the list will get pretty long the more tapes I find.
This song is among my most favourites and God knows how much I love Jani's voice and lyrics. Thank you Jani. For me, were the most precious among all these gems. Rest easy.
Damn, what a hell of a lead guitar player is Mike Slamer. Unbelievable; his sound, technique, frasing, timing, punch. Absolute a good mix with the band Warrant.
@@jbj..9370 Bon Jovi were/are the $h*t!I remember when Living on a prayer would come on MTV in the 80's when they were a music channel lol. Anyway, when it would come on I would go nuts looking for this fake pink little guitar that my sister got for xmas (I was about 5 yrs old) because I loved to pretend to play the guitar solo when that part played lol. If I couldn't find that guitar I would just air guitar it. But it didn't feel right without that toy and I would be upset when I couldn't find it lol. It's funny, I play lead guitar today but never learned that solo. I think I know what my next project is 🤘😎🤘 stay safe friend.
I remember when I was 6 I met Jaimie the lead singer in my home town in upstate New York, a truly nice and down to earth person. I actually cried when he passed away as I knew him if only for a moment. He made me laugh and joked with me. I'll always remember him fondly
So talented and yet so sad and tragic that he’s not with us no more. Knowing now what he went through I wish I could go back and at least give him a hug and help him. Rest In Peace my guy you’re definitely missed on my end anyways
I agree 👍💯. I was born in 72, 😂 at 4 years old I had memorized certain songs . I can remember all the Awesome 😎 concerts we went to at Memphis 🎸🎵⚡, ZZ Top, Black Crows , Night Ranger, Warrant,The Outfield,Jackal to name a few. I read an article about Jani getting assaulted at a party and he never got over it. It affected him really hard . I can totally understand, I have dealt with Anxiety, Depression, Severe Mood Swings as a result of childhood trauma, abuse at the hands of older supposedly responsible adults. I have never sought treatment. I partied like a 🎸 ⭐ for a long time. Thankfully I'm lucky, 🙏 to live with my Mom, and Dad. I take care of them , I don't have time to bust a spring, as the saying goes. They are in poor health and even though I have never really accomplished Anything, no kids, never married, I can say I'm grateful for not passing my demons on to anyone else. 🙏, God Bless you, you obviously know Great 🎶. Keep on Rocking In The Free 🌎, it May Not Last Much Longer 🤞 💜 🎸
I was born y 1993. My father has almost 50, he grow up in 80's and he always listen this kind of music, now when he tells me "play some on Spotify" he knows that i'll play something like this. Thank you daddy ❤️
I am also a 1993 born but I am from India and have absolutely no knowledge of this genre of music. I randomly landed on this video. But nice meeting you here. Bye. Take care 🙌 Btw, do you know about Meher Baba??
I was born in 83, but I still remember the late 80s VIVIDLY, and while I am a thrash and death metal guy, I can't front, I love me some hair metal or glam or whatever you call it. I would kill to have been a teenager in the 80s!!!! Being a kid in the 80s was a good enough time, I can't imagine the fun 80s teenagers had!!!!! Those of you who were lucky enough to be 80s teens, you guys are truly blessed. 🤘
Jani was so talented, he was so much more than the guy who wrote cherry pie. I'm so lucky to have been growing up when Warrant n bands like them were popular. RIP Jani ❤
"Cherry Pie" was written at the request of the record label for a Title Song. Wrote it in a few minutes but was not his favorite. Yes, very underrated songwriter and singer. Hated seeing the news when he passed. RIP Jani ...
I remember wearing out my “Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich” album, listening to all my favorites, including this one. Just recently, I realized, this song, could be, my favorite power ballad of all time. There are so many good ones out there. But this one just has a certain sadness to it that is so powerful. I don’t know for sure if it’s my top pick for power ballads, but it’s definitely up there. But yeah, STILL wearing these songs out
enzo vanzini Syria Mosque Ballroom. Like NY Felt Forum underneath. Pittsburgh 1st Tour 1 week after Heaven was released. Was so wild it made Slayer concert look opera.? How?? 98% Female crowd and girl in front row bit my arm so she could jump onstage and 💋 Jani Lane.
These guys were extremely good at getting as much potential as possible out of their song ideas. Especially this one. The choice and timing of all the guitar riffs. How the melodies were handled. The arrangement of it all. It's practically perfect. They turned what could've been just a good ballad into an amazing one, and that's so tough to do
When this came out I was a teenager it became my go to song anytime I felt lost sad or alone. I'm 50 n it's still my go to song anytime I feel that way ❤
Great music 60s, 70 s, 80 s hair bands! I remember these songs so vividley. The 80 s was my favorite decade for music. Im 53 now. takes me bck to driving our 87 Chevy IRoc Z 28.😄
Man, I love hair metal. Such catchy tunes, with beautiful ballads, great drum and bass quality, amazing virtuoso guitarists and singers. I love Warrant, such an underrated band. Loved the ending, it was beautiful seeing them together. The only thing I wish with this video is that there was the ending with Jani's beautiful last note and then the solo that goes to a fade out. It's brilliant! Always brings a tear to my eyes. RIP Jani
i got more good times tied to this music than any other. cruising the backroads with the top down, friends,a cooler full, no cares, maybe even end up parking,...just lovin life ,really, wish it never ended
It was a great time in life. Just the energy, the music, all the awesome guitars that were coming out from the different companies (I'm a guitarist), and just seeing all these bands hit the scene. Truly magical time! :)
YUP, It sure was no cell phones, You could identify the car behind you and if you did anything wrong you were in the next county before the call was made to the law, Great times wouldn't of traded it for the world !!!
I hypothesize that what happened was the rise in autotune and audio software to correct mistakes. In this era, you had to have TALENT because if you hit the wrong note, you could not fix it and have to record the song again.
I graduated in 1989. The music era was the with no comparison. I wish ,I could go back and live it every day. I listen to Sirius radio 80' and Hair nation. Never let it die.
I cry bc I miss my father. He was a big fan of Warrant and would play this song alot. He moved out of the house now bc he has made some poor decisions lately and now I am lucky if I get to see him twice a week. I don't want to get used to not seeing him every day >~< I can't even listen to this kind of good music without crying ; (,,,,,,
It's a sadness this guy died thinking his music was a failure. Far from it man. Rip
This is the best comment I've ever seen in a long time.
I love Warrant. Janey Lane was the best.
Yes it was best music to grow and in old age

Im with you.
Same!!
Janie was a great vocalist!
And beyond!🤟👽🤘
I cannot wait to see them Oct 7, 2022!! ♥️
If GUNS & ROSES wrote this song... We would be considering it one of the GREATEST songs ever! WARRANT is so so so UNDERRATED!!!!!
Warrant is great and definitely underrated, but, Guns and Posers are way overrated
Nor warrant has the originality of this song. The solo part wasn't played by both Eric & Joey.
I saw Warrant open up for Poison in 1989. They kicked ass! Great music back then.
That true hanie though he wasn't good enough
@@loudnproud2704 studio guitarists did that a lot
10 years ago today 8/11 we lost our precious Jani. May he always Rest In Peace.
No other hair metal band of the 80s wrote better ballads than Warrant. This, "I Saw Red" and "Heaven" set a bar.
Uncle Tom's cabin
@@Moose803great song but would't call it a power ballad

I think Jani actually said he didn't like the song 'Heaven' lol
don't forget Stronger Now and Sad Theresa and Bitter Pill!!!!
My teens years filled with warrant, ratt, poison, stryper, motley crue and so on. Those damn best years of my life.
Agreed 80s was the best of times!

Being young in the 70s 80s and 90s - I believe I caught the tail-end of the, best years of this county.

🖤💔🕊 For Jani Lane
Jani Lane is my idol
Damn…he died on my 22nd birthday…
I met Jani a few months before he died.
He was a great guy. He was incredibly talented.
I am honored to have shaken his hand.
was my dream never got. but still a gift to hear and be alive during this area.
I wish that there had been more people around him to help him. We lost a golden one.
I met him in his hometown of Akron in 2008 --- sadly, you could tell he was losing his battle with alcohol --- guy had a heart of gold, though😔
I met him on the rock never stops tour such a sweet guy and gave great hugs
Awesome! I saw Warrant many years ago open up for Motley Crue in Austin, Texas.
So surprised this didn't chart higher. This is one of the very best power ballads of the '80s. Should've been a #1 hit
👌👍👊
💯
From the guitar at the beginning, to the lyrics, the keyboard mixed in with the chorus, and, well, every part of the song, it's awesome
Have youvmet him, l I'd, sorry, bit he's wall-eyed

Studio guitarists guys... I do believe that Warrant was true and didn't do that but there were a lot of 80's bands that used studio guitarists.
Yeah I heard they brought in a guy to play leads on that record. No credits
One of the most underrated songs and bands of the 80s. Great song.
U ARE CORRECT SIR!
All the girls knew all of the words ;)
These guys were everywhere on MTV and radio when I was a little boy in the late 80s early 90s. They were not underrated.
They're one of the top bands to come out of the 80"s...Under rated...how you figure?
I agree very underrated, this song should've been a top 5 hit if not a number 1. The guitar work is exquisite and they actually could sing

Happy Birthday Jani!! 2/1/2018 #54
What a singer Jani Lane was, an amazing band for sure.
Best of the best
I feel so fortunate to have been a teenager in the 80's. Life was so much better than it is now.
Same Lisa Evans.
So true.. We are so lucky the time we lived in ❤🇺🇸
What? You mean before you were told by the establishment and every special interest group out there, that you and everyone like you were the cause of all the world's problems? Yeah, I know.
@@wadehampton1737 Lol
Turned 13 in 1980 so my teen years were the 80's wouldn't trade it for anything those were the best days with the greatest music ever 80's RULE FOREVER!!!
We're the same age brother. And I fondly miss those times with awesome music
was born in the summer of love myself...good times rock hard ride free
Me either
I forgot about this song! Warrant had great tunes like this one, Uncle Tom's Cabin, I Saw Red...great lyrics, arrangements and definitely vocals. RIP Jani. Talented guy.
Rip Jani... criminally underrated singer, songwriter..
R.I.P JANI LANE...one of the best vocalist & songwriter ever! Miss u dude...miss the music and the songs
Man I loved this song!! And I'm a Guy!! Jani had one of the BEST voices in Rock!! RIP Brother!!!! 🙏
I really miss 80s music and television. EVERYTHING was better back then.
Just me me too.
Just me No just you, my friend. I miss it as well so much - tears of joy when I hear these gems from that time.
drpepperchris39 Sadly and totally agree. It's gone to hell since then.
Vocals on this song are unbelievable. I also like the lyrics to this song
I was raised on hair bands(thanks mom 😊)and I love them! The music is amazing and the ballads are so heartfelt. Music these days doesn’t compare at all. There will never be another decade like the 80’s for music. It truly was the best in my opinion.
I agree 100%, the 80´s were incredible, simply amazing, i miss those days so much.
Thanks to your mom 🎉
I was rocking in Warrant's era. I saw them several times--from opener to headliner. They never disappointed live, ever! Met Jani once. PEACE
I was a teenager during the 80's and Warrant will always be near and dear to my heart!! R.I.P. Jani Lane xoxo Love you always!!
I met Jani and the Boys
Back after the Chery pie
Hit MTV By Storm....
Went to the Strip Bar
And hung out wth them That
Night...Down to Earth
Good Guys.....
Indeed Jani was awesome. I miss him.
Mercy is my side name
I love this song it's a classic they don't have rock groups like this anymore
They don't make music like this anymore. Best songs for sure.. real music
I'm sure the list will get pretty long the more tapes I find.

great new music just like this...
enjoy your welcome
That is for sure there is nothing like a rock groups like they were back in the 80s
This song is among my most favourites and God knows how much I love Jani's voice and lyrics. Thank you Jani. For me, were the most precious among all these gems. Rest easy.
Love this band. I only just came across them recently. Something about their music makes me shiver and touches my soul.
Beautiful man with a beautiful voice that helped me work through the ending of a terrible relationship. Miss hearing his voice. RIP Jani. 💔
This kid was a rock and roll poet.....beautiful brother 💜🙏💜
I would give anything to go back to this era of music!!
Damn, what a hell of a lead guitar player is Mike Slamer. Unbelievable; his sound, technique, frasing, timing, punch. Absolute a good mix with the band Warrant.
Every band in the 80's had an excellent lead guitarist, singer., drummer, bass player.... BAND PERIOD!
100% true they are the best and nothing can beat them at the present...first in my list is the big name BON JOVI
Except Motley Crue, they just had a good lead guitar player lol

Man Warrant has always had such underrated songs! I'll die listening to warrant
I remember when I was 6 I met Jaimie the lead singer in my home town in upstate New York, a truly nice and down to earth person. I actually cried when he passed away as I knew him if only for a moment. He made me laugh and joked with me. I'll always remember him fondly
Rich Morlang that's cool but his name is Jani Dude
I grew up in Upstate New York (Utica, NY) & love all the hair bands from this era !!!
@@partyonurpussy i know i misspelled it
I wish you knew how much you were loved Jani. Rest in peace 🙏🎸🤘💖
Long Live the Hair Bands!!!! Music will never be the same
Hair Bands were awesome, what a great time.
Keep on Rocking In The Free 🌎, it May Not Last Much Longer 🤞 💜 🎸
the music from the 80's is so much better than stuff now a days. so happy I grew up in 80's
Ahhh, take me back to the 80's. I'd do it all over again if I could.
Jani, heaven is crying because they have an angel. Your fans are crying becuase you are dearly missed....
Exactly thank you 😘🤗
What a beautiful angel he is ❤️
Miss him so much 😢
Agree miss him so much his voice was awesome
How great was Warrant! Back to Back killer albums! Love 80’s Hair Metal
Bye. Take care 🙌
Btw, do you know about Meher Baba??
Very underrated band!!! Great album!!! RIP Jani!!!
The 80's where the best. Today's music really sucks. Make America 80's Again
That we are!!
That guitar and drum intro wakes up the soul every time🤟🏻
I miss Janey... sometimes I weep
The intro had more heart and soul than anything else as of late.
I miss you janie,R..I .P my brother, you were badass, god knows what you have done, you were amazing songwriter
Miss the days of just cruising all night till the sun came up listening to all the 80’s bands. Warrant was great band.
One of the greatest power ballads ever written.
Yepnthis and I remember you...
Happy birthday, Jani. We, your fans, miss you and your talent and voice a lot. May you are resting in Heaven... which is not far away.
But yeah, STILL wearing these songs out
One of the most underrated songs/bands
Warrant is so underrated. Their music is really good
This album came out when I was 16. Im 50 now. Still love the album. Never gets old.
Jani Lane was one of the best song writers from the glam rock era. While the fashion does not :-), the song writing holds up decades later. RIP
WRITER YES as a human he was POS
@@MRFLESHSTORM why you say that? He was a really nice person. Maybe you're a POS
This song makes me remember ... life !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
enzo vanzini Syria Mosque Ballroom.
I'm 50 n it's still my go to song anytime I feel that way ❤
❤
This song got me through some tough times as a teenager growing up in the late 80's and early 90's when I felt like I was alone!
Great music 60s, 70 s, 80 s hair bands! I remember these songs so vividley. The 80 s was my favorite decade for music. Im 53 now. takes me bck to driving our 87 Chevy IRoc Z 28.😄
My sentiments exactly..just a couple years younger
Mike 1963 Awesome! I had a white 87 Iroc Z. Oh the great times in that car!!
RIP Jani
Who’s listening 2024!!!

I cried for Jani
I didn't know he died
Now I'm going to cry 😭
He was not UnDeRrated anything and .
I am a 90's kid. But I really like Hair Metal & Glam Metal. Guitar solos, voice and lyrical content are the best in 80's metal.
80s never goes out of style to us 60s babies. Some of the best music ever! ❤💙💜😇
This is awesome music. I wish that I had grown up in the 80s with these great tunes!
It was a great time in life. Just the energy, the music, all the awesome guitars that were coming out from the different companies (I'm a guitarist), and just seeing all these bands hit the scene. Truly magical time! :)
I grew up during this time period. I wish I could go back to it! Great music and time to be alive!!
amazing years to grow up in... wish I could go back .
YUP, It sure was no cell phones, You could identify the car behind you and if you did anything wrong you were in the next county before the call was made to the law, Great times wouldn't of traded it for the world !!!
+Ron Hayden Couldn't have said it better myself
Warrant rocked and still rocks 😊. 80s metal, can't go wrong with that.
I dont usually like power ballads but Warrant with Jani took them to another level he was such a gifted man for sure,R.I.P.
What happened to music today? This is what music is supposed to be. I miss these days
wbspensfan28 bruh it’s all the same shit ... i love Glam rock . But that shit was as commercial as it gets , it’s unreal . That people forget that .
I hypothesize that what happened was the rise in autotune and audio software to correct mistakes. In this era, you had to have TALENT because if you hit the wrong note, you could not fix it and have to record the song again.
That’s exactly what I feel the same .
I graduated in 1989. The music era was the with no comparison. I wish ,I could go back and live it every day. I listen to Sirius radio 80' and Hair nation. Never let it die.
All are Rock, Metal musicians are passing away but this music will live on forever 😔🖤
Glam Metal will outlive us all!🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
I can´t believe that time has gone so quickly in the 80´s. In these moments is when I wish there was a time machine.
I cry bc I miss my father. He was a big fan of Warrant and would play this song alot. He moved out of the house now bc he has made some poor decisions lately and now I am lucky if I get to see him twice a week. I don't want to get used to not seeing him every day >~< I can't even listen to this kind of good music without crying ; (,,,,,,
one of the top songwriter/singers of that time, of anytime really.........tons of songs we'll prolly never hear......God Bless Jani Lane
God needed a beautiful angel to sing in his choir.😢RIP
I miss him so much I understood his pain. Such a beautiful voice it's a shame some people are natural singers miss him so MUCH
Exactly one of the best.
Warrant would have never been a band without Jani...Always loved this song..
Hearing that opening guitar riff still gives me goosebumps 20+ years later.
Thank you Jani. A wonderful gift for the future you have given us. Rest easy...
