    I really like the side-by-side comparison. Thank you for investigating and sharing your results till the 15 days mark. Thank you for your hard work!

    These are awesome videos documenting your tests and results! Thank you so much for sharing your experiments! I am wondering if you know any books or resources that go into the chemical makeup of bioplastics and what is going on chemically that makes this process come together? I remember something like needing a binder and a plasticizer but don't know where to find that information and information around what constitutes a binder, plasticizer etc. Thanks for any suggestions you have! Looking forward to next videos!

    Hello, does the plastic return to the initial size, texture and flexibility after the water is evaporated or does soaking it in water permanently alter the plastic?

    • @giestas
      @giestas  2 месяца назад

      No, it doesn't recover the original properties.

    hi! i want to make a potato bioplastic cup using a cup mold. do you think adding a wax coating like beeswax or carnauba wax can make it resistant to water?

    • @giestas

      I haven't tried it yet but I hear people do it to improve water resistance yes.

    Does it dissolve quickly in hot water? And this is edible correct?

      Good question but I can't say, I've never tested it in hot water.

    Hi! Will it immediately dissolve if you rub it with your hands?

    What if I deseare making that bio plastic disolves on water most quickly? Should I make the layer thinner? Or what?

      Good question! I never tried to do that so I can't say for sure, but I'd guess so, yes.
