- So we finally are trying Jollibee! It has been a long time, and we are excited for this food review! We decided to make our first time trying Jollibee special, and review MOST of the Jollibee menu! Check it out and see how it was!

Jollibee should have a monitor (with demo video) in their stores showing how to eat the palabok (with lemon juice) & halo-halo the right way.
there's no special way how to eat those, you just have to "mix everything well" and that's it! :)
Halo means mix. Halo-halo means mix-mix😂. Before you eat it, you need to mix everything using your spoon until the ice cream and the crushed ice gets melted. It's so refreshing!😉
Halo-halo means variety or mixture. Eventhough it is advisable to mix all the ingredients by stirring them, halo-halo means mixture or variety. Mix-mix is just a *literal* translation of the word *halo* said twice.
You have to mix it XDD I’m from the Philippines and you really gotta mix it xD (though don’t tell my mom I love to eat the flan just as is-)
The halo halo you have to mix all of them together first before you eat them, so the taste will be sweet and tasty and creamy and yummy...
When you eat halo-halo you should mix everything together before eating it.
Thus the name halo-halo, mix-mix. Pinoys have a habit of being repeato boys and girls for some reason.😉✌
You should mix the halohalo while you have the lid on to avoid spills.. the bottom is so sweet thats why you need to mix it with the shaved ice. But I'm glad you liked it.. much love all the way from PH🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

Solid review.... I figured the sweet spaghetti is to counteract the spiciness of the chicken... And the gravy is definitely for the chicken.
Halo halo means mix in English, it means that this refreshing dessert/snacks is mixed with a lot of goodness inside and the way to eat it is to mix everything that's in it so you can really enjoy all the flavors.
Yes, you’re supposed to mix it. Halo-halo literally means mix-mix so it’s a mix of different ingredients that you mix together. It’s the best way to get the flavor, however, it’s not a “sin” if you don’t mix it. Enjoy it either way ✌️

Well, I'm Filipino/Hawaiian & fyi Halo Halo means Mix Mix in English. So while the cover is on, you really have to mix all the ingredients together. & No you do not want a Boba Straw, because on the bottom of the Halo Halo (b4 mixing) is the pure sweet base of the Halo Halo! So next time you try Halo Halo, Mix Mix all the ingredients together then slurp it up!
As for the Sweet Spaghetti, well from my personal pov. I believe the spaghetti is mostly ment for the Young Kids, because the noodle (pancit) dishes in the Philippines are mainly Savory, Jollibee made Sweet Spaghetti with the Hot Dog pieces for the kids!
You should try Adobo rice and peach mango pie....😀 you should have mixed everything in the halo halo before eating 😀
For halo-halo, you have to mix the ingredients and make the ice partly melted into slush so that the flavors all mix together.
Same thing with the noodle dishes, make sure the sauce and toppings coat all the noodles before you start eating.
Now on to the next visit of Jollibee where you can try the other menu items you missed.

Halo-halo basically means "mix everything", not "mix mix". I am baffled why some Filipinos keep messing this up. Halo-halo is another word in itself.

Filipino food is the soul food of Asia. Filipinos LOVE fried chicken, you won't have a hard time finding them, you can probably find some in every block. Every region compete with each other to have the best food.
The brown crunchy stuff on the palabok is crushed fried pork rinds or crispy fried pork fat. It's delicious but definitely a heart buster if eaten daily. Haha

It's called halo-halo (mixed) because you must mix it first before digging into the glass
Here's the thing!, Next time you go to Jollibee, get the Spicy Chicken, its more satisfying. Then also get the Spicy Chicken Sandwich ( Deluxe ) , they don't skimp on the chicken, and it will rival ANY other fast food chicken sandwich. Next, also get the Peach Mango Pie, I suggest that you get a dozen, because you'll be amazed for sure. And last but not the least, the GRAVY is given automatically with your chicken, because you are suppose to DIP the chicken in it. The concept behind it is a take on Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner, the gravy will give you that sensation to your bite of chicken, or everything else ( except dessert ) on the menu. Great reaction guys.

Filipino spaghetti is usually cooked for kids birthday,that is why it's sweet than other version of spaghetti. Your jolibee review is really good as you were really honest on how the filipino food taste as your taste buds are not used to this foods. Thank you 😊

With the halo-halo, you should mix it thoroughly to the point that the ice is almost melted. This is when you will truly appreciate its goodness with all the ingredients mixed up..👍
Try also the Jollibee's Aloha Yumburger, Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Chickenjoy with Gravy, Mango Peach Pie, Burger Steak with Rice, and Pineapple Quencher they are very good. You have to mix all the ingredients of Halo-Halo first before you eat it.

Yes, for the halo-halo, you mix everything up from the icecream all the way to the beans and jellies. When it all comes together that's when you start eating. Its basically a workout before your cheat meal because it takes a loooooong time to get all the ingredients mixed together
Oh and it can get messy. Probably why they put the lid on so you can mix it with the spoon without making a mess.
