- We got snowed in at the hunker down compound, it was bound to happen eventually I suppose. I got my camping fix for the week trying out the trusty gazebo as a winter camping shelter. There were some issues, some good points, but it was a fun adventure none the less.

Can you imagine the size of a large one.lol Love your selection of ingredients to go in there .seemed perfect .never seen bottled smoke before ?one thing missing was a bottle of red wine to go on the pot .quarter a bottle to add .The rest to drink.great stuff I often wonderd how those gazebos would hold out to cold .I'm making a little stealth sleeping trailer at the mo 4 by 7 feet and insulated walls and roof .
and about 4 high .making it so I can use it as a regular load lugger so the roof is hinged so I can fit big stuff in also in a little claustrophobic so I wan to know I can get out super fast via the door on the back or simply open the roof to look at the stars if its warm.its basically a box that no one would suspect it was a camper .it looks like a generator soundproof housing or somthing I might even get some gen set stickers to go on the side.I just don't need bother from the cops and be able to pull up anywhere without suspition and get my head down with no bother.

@@ironwolfF1 Aren’t a lot of those cabinet Staples expect maybe the liquid smoke and balsamic vinegar? Salt,pepper,Red chili peppers, Lemons, garlic are all things in my pantry my whole life.
It was maybe $5 worth of ingredients.
He didn't buy all those things just for that meal.
Take that thing of garlic. That cost probably $3-5, but he used like 20 or 30 cents worth.
You have to count that 30 cents, not 3 dollars.

I'm down for Steve anywhere and any time, bro! Good video as usual, sir. Brings me back to when I was a teenager and early 20's camping with my cousin Justin and my buddy David. We'd wait until the dead of winter in Louisiana (gets down to the teens, 20F's and 30F's here at times) and we'd go out tent camping, build a big fire, sit around with a 1/5th of Jack Daniels or Jim Beam (and probably a little pot), a couple 6 packs of beer (or a case), some cheap steaks, snacks, and our sleeping bags, and we were good to go. I remember giving a Dr. Pepper can with some whiskey in it to the local raccoons and one of them sat down on his butt and drank from the can with his little hands. We laughed SO freaking hard at that. The next night, he had brought his whole family by. lmao he must've enjoyed the whiskey.

It's you trying out stuff like this is why I'm hooked on camping with Steve. Just figuring out what works and what doesn't. Stealth camps are cool and all but this is 100% more entertaining to me. The bubble wrap set up was a good one. With beautiful wife gone it's gotta be rough just dont give up.

Long time viewer. I think my favorite videos were of the highway median and rest stop, hands down. It’s so sneaky, and I like that sort of thing. So naturally, I’d like to see more of that sort. You know, in that clump of bushes near this or that store/restaurant. Another thing I’ve wanted to see is, people making complete shelters out of cardboard boxes. I mean a complete one man shelter that has a water resistant roof, enough room for an adult to easily sit up in, some storage nooks and an awning covered front where they could sit and enjoy a step 2. Maybe even painted to blend in. Anywhoo, take care and have fun. Hopefully with more sneaky sob videos LOL!

A special! I have never seen a Scandinavian style fire pit where the survivalist sleeps over the coals. The coals will help keep you warm. So a platform well constructed to sleep on with a deep pit for the coals to stay constant when sleeping and keep you away and well secure.

You know you're the reason I took up camping again...I found a cool trick last winter to help keep my feet warm when I'm sitting by the fire. Put a board or even a piece of firewood under your boots.
My camp boots are the Wallyworld rubberized ones with the really good tread and a leather upper. They're great but the piece of wood under them makes a world of difference when its freezing and snow is your floor.
Great fun watching this one when it's 90° outside.

Good question. Perhaps he could rent an RV and eat caviler inside it with Beautiful Wife, while knocking back expensive whiskey and cooking up some some expensive steak cuts for him and the missus.
Or, hell, knowing Steve he would rent the RV, let BW stay in it while he sets up traps all around it to skirt it and he sleeps under the damn thing, while eating cheezits and sausages and while drinking a Steele Reserve. Which, frankly, would be fine by me, and probably better than eating fish eggs inside some big ass RV anyway.
