I understand. I discovered both Patrice and Bill Burr around 2 years ago. I saw them on TV in passing, but didn't get to listen and watch them until COVID hit.
Thank you to all the comics who made this possible ! Would have loved the chance to go to his show or meet him but he lives on through all of his friends to this day. Grew up with my dad listening to O & A on car rides it was awesome. Never went out of my way to learn about Patrice and in the past few years I’ve watched + re watched so many of his old clips just to hear his ideas on things. A unique and remarkable person like him won’t be forgotten.

He understood broken women, or more broadly he understood people's (so also women) psycological and unconsciouss behaviour. Most of people do not realize that about themself in their entire life and that is the majority of us. But a person who has realized that, coming from a better place internally than where Patrice was, would take that understanding to an even higher level. Patrice with women expecially, but in general with people, was always vulnerable, he always needed to dominate you, to have control on you (I mean it in a psycological way). He could not ever have anything to do with anything that he felt vulnerable. That is why he also geopardized his career. I love him to death but we need to honour the man, with all his fraylties and weeknesses. I notice that most of Patrice fans idolize him, but the reason for that seems to me egoistical.
