      all of their riffs are easy except fucking hostile and rise but Dime's solos are hella hard, i can only play Cowboys From Hell's solo

    Brings me back to the 90s, used to play these tunes on guitar and record to cassette tape and crank it through amps so I could jam along on drums,

    Thanks for the video brother! I am also a bit bothered by the sound of the finger slide against the thicker strings. Always thought that was just the way it was but wasn't entirely sure and also found it a little annoying. Did you ever find a solution?

    Unless it's some kind of frequency (idk much about audio frequencies or anything), i have to tune down 1/4 step from E or D standard to be right in tune with the studio recordings.

      Yep they used to tune to in between notes for some songs to get weird harmonics going on.

      Do some research on his tuning, I know he mostly tuned flat with it up 40 cents on the tuner.

      I've looked into it before, different songs are at different pitches, eg Cowboys is at 437Hz, Vulgar is at 425Hz etc. But the internet being the internet, there's a million theories and "I heard from his tech" stories that contradict each other.

    I think Dime hammers first riff of 5 minutes alone in drop d tuning. From 3 to 7 to open d

    Seems strange to hear this all on a Les Paul Classic. You’re also a little too clean, visually, for some good Dime riffs. ;-)

      D standard 435hz. Not 100% sure on the hz, but its for sure D standard.

    you don't know how to teach, don't teach anybody the rhythm idk why nobody else ever comments this on anyone's guitar lessons I see this constantly play it slower and actually teach us how to play it instead of just showing us where to put our fingers
