Hey guys! Here is my first vlog about my life in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They said women, especially Russian women, take good care of their fingernails. I hope yours are okay now after that not-so-pleasant experience in a salon. Plus, be safe always... hope that scarry guy came back to your apartment's door and won't terrorize you again. Love your videos.
Im proud to be in the 🇺🇸 and be citizen .But boy I miss my country Bosnia 🇧🇦 and Hercegovina I just don't want my kiddos to see warr like I did never. You girl did nice job with your channel 👏
Hello Dari!! I loved this video! It looks like Bosnia and Herzegovina have recovered very well from the war there from 1992 to 1995. Everything looks so nice and modern. Thank you, I look forward to your next video! Have a nice week and Sunday!
I’m so happy you choose Sarajevo. That’s my hometown, I was born and grew up there. It is a beautiful city full of history, multicultural and multi religious, some kind of little Jerusalem. And we are also Slavic so you can understand many words. If I were there now I would be glad to show you around but I live in Italy. Many older people speak some Russian because in former Yugoslavia that was often the unique foreign language taught in schools. You are very welcome. I hope you’ll have a good time in Bosnia. PS. I am so sorry for your bad experience with taxi driver from airport. Like elsewhere, there are always good guys and bad guys. That was a bad one, he also charged you to much. From airport to city center rate is 20 mark tops, not 20 dollars. I would have reported him... As a Sarajevese I apologize for him.
Great video, great city, and glad you're having a great time there. So cool to see how Sarajevo has bounced back since the war. I had no idea it was such an amazing destination.
Hi Dari, i see great potential in these cities for development and a cool life. It's a bit like my hometown Berlin 30 years ago. Today, life in Berlin is unaffordable and there is hardly any affordable living space to find - as in most western metropolises. But in cities like Sarajevo there is still creative scope for development. I'm considering emigrating to such a city myself. Good luck with your journey.
Hertzlich willkomen Nico! Viele Bosnische Leute kann sehr gut Deutschesprache und wir sind freundlich. Ps. Ich mag Berlin, Ich habe da vie als Student gearbeitet (Spandau, Kopenick, Neukolln) Lg aus Sarajevo. :)
Such a pleasure to watch this video! You're so obviously happy and enjoying life, it's very inspiring! What an incredible start to your time there. I hope the rest of your stay is just as exciting.
Great video Dari. It is good to see you are so happy there. The video was interesting till the very end, with many details. Looking forward to see your next adventures in BiH!
Hey, i live in Sarajevo. Greetings/Pozdrav! Its nice to see you enjoying yourself 👍 The only bad thing is the weather bcs its cold and rainy and i believe its colder in Russia so you prob got used to it. That football team celebration was for 100 years of: Željezničar This walking area at 4:46 is called: Vilsonovo Šetalište Its my favourite place to walk and there's a faculty right next to it in which i attended to. Its at 5:13
Your English _is_ the best! Jane Austen's _Pride and Prejudice_ is very particular with emphasis on simple words like this- _and_ the second edition adds a single extra emphasis, which _is_ salient!
And we led the Israelites across the sea, and Pharoah and his legions pursued them with wickedness and spite. *But as he was drowning,* Pharoah said: 'Now I believe no God exists except the One in whom the Israelites believe. Now I am a Muslim.-Jonah 10:91
Daria, had time to watch in full after the live stream and loved the video, and not surprised that you had already made so many new friends. Barhana is a good place. Regarding the bill arriving early I don't think is is so common in Sarajevo but happens more when you are alone, in my experience.
Dari, I'm glad you are doing well in your new country. Looks like you met some fellow Floridians there. The city looks beautiful. Congratulations and greetings from Florida.
great to see your happy and enjoying exploring the place, they even welcomed you with fire works really and not the football as they knew you were coming , looks a nice place to visit ,take care
I am a Bosnian who has been living in the United States since 1997. Bosnia is a small but beautiful country and if you stick around you will find out how warm and welcoming all people there are. There is much more to Bosnia and Herzegovina other than Sarajevo. The reason, why stores are open on Sunday, is because Bosnia has a large Muslim population. To Muslims, Sunday doesn't represent anything. It's just another day of the week while Europeans still have the tradition of closing everything on Sundays.
Here in Sweden, most stores are open during the weekend. Many museums are likely to be open Sundays but not Mondays. You simply want to serve customers when they have time, and most of our free time is during Saturday and Sunday. Pure logic.
Very nice video, jam packed with scenic Sarajevo, great food and interviews with other vloggers! Dari, you are very talented, resourceful and beautiful as well as multi-lingual! (i only know English?!) I hope your channel grows and grows!
Awh just gorgeously happy with joy. This sure looks like a fantastic step you have made Dari they had fire works to celebrate your arrival 🤪 looks like you have some fun adventure coming up and you know long videos are my favourite however these little 10-12 min videos are quiet nice. Glad Natasha said check out my friend Dari channel.
I tend to not like 20-min videos as much. Frequently they're packed with filler material or over extended scenes. But I don't know if longer videos are better for the youtube algorithms.
@@ronw8628 20 minutes is the ideal for me. Any more and my attention drifts, any less and it's over too soon! Dari's videos are interesting and there's not a lot of padding so I don't really fast forward them.
Dari, stop sweating the small stuff. Everybody loves you and your videos. Stop trying to explain everything you do. We don't care, we just love you. With that being said its funny you're in Sarajevo. I was just trying to explain the Bosnian War to someone today( not funny ) and here you are with this video. Beautiful country. Visit the Adriatic and show us videoed of the coast.
Now I just have to see if "fireworks" are set off on Dari's next visit to another country. Nice walk-about ... sort of out of style in the west to walk anywhere. Thanks for making a rainy day a lot brighter Dari.
A fusion of Europe and the Ottoman / Turkish tradition. This is probably how it should be defined from a historical and cultural point of view. You know the Turks and the Ottoman Empire, even though the Muslim culture shouldn't be called Arabs.
You've got a magnetic personality. Over time it's going to attract many subscribers/viewers/patrons. The world has so incredibly many beautiful places, that one person could never see them all in a lifetime of traveling, so even though I have and continue to travel I'm glad there are younger people like you who give the world a positive glimpse of places most folks will never see in person.
I found your vlog through Yeah Russia and this is my first visit. I like it! You may know the answer to this but it seems you were near the location of the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand, which was the beginning of the first World War. Am I correct? Thank you for sharing the interesting scenery. I will be watching for more..... new sub!
Amazing how Bosnia has recovered. You would be amazed how many people from Bosnia live here in the Atlanta, GA area here in the United States. No doubt they moved here because of the war. I have heard that Bosnians are fond of Americans because we helped to end the war. That being said, Israel and England are the two places I want to visit. Israel because of its biblical significance and England because of my ancestry. I also have German ancestry, and want to visit there too, but I know much more about the history of Britain. I know a lot about the history of Russia too. The mongol invasions were pretty rough. They killed everyone in Kiev. And still it was rebuilt. The state Europe is in today is unprecedented. Europe had been in a constant state of war from even before Rome until 1945. The entire continent of Europe at peace is unprecedented in its history. The new warfare seems to be more financial. The ruling class vs the rest of us. And most of us just let them
