@@DavidOlver it seems like the perfect corvette but it’s worth considering it’s only the perfect corvette because it suits Israel’s need. The general rule of thumb is the more equipment and weapons = less range, which suits the Israeli Navy who only need to provide security on the Mediterranean. For the Australian navy they need vessels with more range in order to secure Australian maritime interests across the pacific and Indian oceans as well as south east Asia.

@@DavidOlver if it has good range and endurance then it would be a better option than Sa’ar 6 but even then, it’s only got 16 Micas, a missile the Oz Navy don’t currently use. You’d have to integrate ESSM into the vessel and MK41 to accommodate it, assuming there is space. I don’t know if you are familiar with the Tier 2 General purpose frigate program, but it’s the current arrangement that the Australian Navy is going to procure either Mogami class frigates built originally for the Japanese Navy, or MEKO200 frigates built by Germany for export.

Sorry for the delay, I hadn't seen your comment. There is no public information on how many days it can remain at sea without refueling, but the range is up to 4,000 nm.
