We'll get submarines from the French anyway, and some MRF from either Sweden or US.
They're the fastest pag dating sa production and they offer a 30-year support for the ships. We need boast ASAP and if HHI can deliver, why not.
Since they will be in Hanjin Shipyard
They have the leverage. 10x HHI ships used by Philippine Navy. MRO facility in Subic, Engineering Office at BGC then potential shipbuilding yard in Subic.
Aircraft Carriers needed
The Philippines should learn from Ukraine about having a Navy and spending a lot of money from these Frigates.
Ukraine ordered 2 Missile corvette from Turkey before the war which is still sitting in Turkish Shipyard this day
Ukraine is literally buying ships from Turkey, and the Philippines is literally an archipelago made out of thousands of islands, you need a Navy to have an advantage here.
Bruh, The Philippines is an Archipelago Nation, so it needs to have more ship for the Navy 😅
If our country have $10B budget military maybe we can have bought some Radar Submarines Fighter Jets
Banggain naman yan
Does it even have a Phalanx system?
the philippines have 2 corvette 2 frigatte 6 OPV all of that are made and build by the HHI south korea why the HHI dont try to change there warship model and variant that they can offer and show to the philippines like the latest advance of longguide warship class destroyer much expensive but the capability of that kind destroyer are very powerfull that can face of all kinds of treats can HHI do that for the philippines to show that kind of warship class destroyer
Philippines should not focus in one ship builder they should go for DAMEN,NAVANTIA NAVAL GROUP!!! THE TDL of the philippines has been fdup by the hyundai
I think what PN needs look at are small attack boat drones…and submarines! No need for all these expensive ships just like what Ukrainian developed and used against Russian ship which proven effective.
These ships provide another layer of Air Defense considering the country lacks ground based Air defense systems due to their VLS and Short Range Air defense systems.
Also Ukraine had already commissioned their 1st Corvette in Istanbul which they bought from Turkey, a MILGEM Class Corvette. If you really think their Navy solely relies of USVs to counter Russia then you're wrong.
Parehas lng ang design
1st
