I have a couple of Dell Optiplex 3050 Micro PCs and I love them. One I use for a server, the other for Linux desktop. The important thing to watch out for is to have a genuine Dell power supply if possible. Some of the 3rd party ones it doesn't like, and it throttles down the processor to 790 MHz instead of 2.5Ghz. You can turn on a warning in the BIOS for this, but don't ignore it or it will run really slow!
i have a optiplex 3070 micro and my adapter died so i use a cheap one i found and it is locking at 790MHz but i found tthat all it really does is disable the turbo and put the base clock to 790MHz so i just downlaod throttlestop and reenabled the turbo
@@Felshish Thanks, that's a good solution if you are running Windows, but my Optiplex 3050s are running Linux. I managed to find adapters at a reasonable cost that give enough wattage for them not to throttle down
I just picked up an Optiplex 3060 with an i3 for $77US. Put in a 2 TB SSD and loaded it with Batocera. Very nice.

That's an amazing device for office applications. I don't know if it's good for gaming.
Emulation 😁
Does it have a pcie slot
quite versatile for a mini pc - not optimal still
Can you add a low profile graphics to this externally
Nope... and nope.
It might be a gamble
👍👍™️
Yes, that is a fact. 😅
Did notice that updating the Batocera helps big time sometimes.
