How to easily remove window glazing at home

I've struggled to remove window glazing safely until now. I wanted to pass along a technique that has made the process much easier. With just a simple garment steamer and a putty knife, the glazing practically falls off.
Leave the steam on an area until the glazing becomes soft enough for the putty knife to easily cut into it. Do your best to stay away from the glass. The real trick is only using the putty knife half way up the glazing.

Thank you for the video, this is a really difficult thing to do. So easy to break the glass or severely damage the soft timber frame. I have been putting it off for so long because of the thought of having to re glaze all my windows. I will give this a try :-)
