@@Ryan-re1rs Hope your image stabiliser doesn't get damaged. Ive read that quad locks can damage the camera module.

I've used Rokform cases and mounts in my vehicles, mountain and road pedal bikes for years. These cases are the best out there in my opinion. I am sure the handlebar mount is going to be great.
For those concerned about the magnet, it has not affected my phone at all, and I've had it on for a few weeks. Unless you're looking to use wireless charging, the magnet causes no issue from what I've seen thus far.
For those saying they don't make the case for the model phone you have, they have a universal adapter that will go on the back of other phone cases: bit.ly/BHM-RF-UnivAdapt
I'll be making a follow up video going over this mount while on bike as well, but I've used it a few times, and it holds the phone very firmly (no movement at Mexico speeds 👍)
BLOCKHEAD until your phone starts taking wavy photos and videos...3 iPhone’s replaced due to mount...not friendly to iPhones or at least newer ones as mines an XS Max...buddies all doing the same thing...somehow the vibration ends up ruing the camera lens up front, love the mount, but beware, hope you don’t get the syndrome...sucks because it’s the cleanest raddest mount on the market🤙🏻
BLOCKHEAD I think the vibrations from my 1300 cc V-twin is messing with my back facing camera. On my 3rd camera since I started using the mount last year.
Have you had the shaky camera issue after using this mount. I’m debating between this one or the quad lock.
I’ll give it a try cause I got a trip up to TN and right now I’m just using some $20 mount I hope for $119 it’s worth the money.
I dunno have you ever heard of them, but I use an Ultimate addons case at the moment, It's waterproof(very important here) and hasnt let me down anywhere so far even on super bumpy roads. That said the rokform case looks much much nicer. It'll be interesting to see how it lasts.
Stoked I ordered one for my grom. Looks really solid, my ram mount to me never felt secure with the rubber straps on the corners holding phone in place I have a note phone as well so it is mondo.
I've always been nervous with phone mounts at speed, but that mechanism looks rock solid as hell
Check out quadlock its very similar but had a locking bar instead of a magnet which still allows wireless charging.

I've had the same Rokform mount for 5 years. Through many crashes and loops, it holds up strong!

I have the same case lol. Wife and I have the scout oem mount on our bikes. Works great and looks really good.
Hate to dig up a old post. But did yours put grooves in your phone case? I just received mine. And after trying it out on my bike. It has cut some grooves in the phone case fitting it. And was curious if that’s normal.
@@dahobbs2008 Have the same case but the mount we're using is a discontinued Indian OEM mount. But to answer your question no, it didn't. Sorry I couldn't help you out more.
I was looking at the rokform but I ended up going with the quad lock instead it's a little cheeper and smaller profile case
Good Morning Blockhead! If you don't mind I have a question. If that is a Harbor Freight cycle lift, I have one but my front wheel clamp is nothing like yours. If you would, please post here where you got the front tire clamp. I would like to upgrade my lift.

BLOCKHEAD it looks great but......is it better than a RAM mount X grip? I have one with the bungie and it can move in all directions then I can twist to lock in place works great. Would you recommend this over the RAM mounts X grip?
When you had it sideways/landscape mode, you captioned that the magnets don't line up.. But isn't it the same as it being upright? Because the entire mount turns sideways so isn't the magnet still working the same? I am getting my HD perch mount one tomorrow, got the case today

It looks like a great mounting system, but they say in their description that it may affect in a negative way the wireless charger and/or use of the Note 9 stylus. Bummer! Guess I'll have to stick with my Ram mount. Thanks for the review. 👍

Went and checked out the website because I really need a phone mount for my motorcycle, but was a little disappointed they don't make a case for Google phones. Oh well, top quality products nonetheless

It's an amazing case I use it all the time only one bad thing about it. since there's a magnet in the back make sure you don't put your wallet with credit cards next to it the magnet will mess up your credit card I learned that the hard way.. also you will not be able to use your wireless charging ..other than that very good case and mounts..
Almost the same as the Quad Lock.. I just crashed my bike and there was not damage to my phone and it stayed on my bike!

I have the rockform but found out that you cant draw on pictures or use a stylus with a case that has a magnet. So now its in a drawer. Was cool until then
Rok Form is a great mount. However, it does not work with a stylus. I have the Samsung S8 Note. The magnet case disables writing on the screen. So sad. They know about the issue but have not fixed it as of yet.

So I ordered a mount and case...189 is the original price since I have chrome everywhere...my browser found a deeper discount of 30% for using DDE30 but I did email them letting them know that I would not have bought if it wasnt for your video...just an FYI....as browser plugins are finding deeper discounts is all....

That's a sleek mount....but I still don't see myself ever mounting my phone to my handlebars. For me, riding is my time to get away from my phone.

It looks very solid, but I am not crazy about having to change my phone case to use it - A) because like you, I swear by Otterbox and B) I sometimes carry stuff in my pocket that can get whacked by magnets. Nice system, but not feelin' the magnet aspect.

Sadly they only make it for iphone and samsung phones. So no go for Pixel users was gonna totally get one but they limit their market. oh well. Great video though. I really want the case especially with the magnetic feature.. Hopefully you'll make another review with using it on the road. it seems like with vibration and bumps it might swivel.
Has anyone had any issues with their cameras after using these phone mounts?...im on my 3rd malfunctioning camera due to using the mount. Waiting on customer service to get in touch with me.
I've been running it without a magnet for months, no issues at all and I rarely use a windshield. I actually modified my case by removing the magnet and added a metal ring so I can still use a wireless charger as well as a magnetic mount wireless charger in my car. No, S pen doesn't work well either. I loved their mount but only downside.
Wanted to say thanks for Rokform discount. But case isn't good for galaxy s22 ultra. Have to take out both magnets to use s-pen and to wireless charge.

How can you even make a military grade phone mount because I'm pretty sure they don't have those things in the military so it can't be military grade

@@greyroof3120 They use 6061 aluminum, which I guess it used in building of aircrafts, hence, them using catch words like "military grade". It's mostly catch words to get people to buy, even though 99.9999% of people that buy this have zero clues what it's made of.

I use QuadLock. Bit expensive and you need the specific phone case for it but it works really well and all their mounts, car, bike, desk use all the same mechanism.
Block, the issue with the tech mounts was the nut over the ball mount. They have corrected the design and will replace your old nut for no charge if you contact them and there’s no issue any more. Good all the way to 100 mph.

Probably the best mount there is but 120$ USD for an aluminum mounting bracket + 40$ USD for the plastic case?

Dang, its twice as much as a Ram mount. I thought they were the undisputed champ in cell phone motorcycle mounts.
Ram mounts are awesome. Ive tried like 4 different kinds, Kuryakyn was the worst and RAM mounts where the best. Haven't gotten to try these

Nah mate, Quadlock shits all over Rokform mounts. I’ve been using them for years on a few all sorts of bike and they’re the goods.
I would not go that far mate! Quadlock has no magnet and the handlbe mount is not near as adjustable as Rockforms...

lol it’s just as adjustable as the rokform, and more secure. The magnet is a bit of a wank factor and really it just collects iron filings.

QuadLock is like this because QuadLock came out almost two years later…and it’s made out of plastic instead of aluminum.
