Some of my favorites are la jaibera, salsa de tomate, rie y llora, el chisme, rinkinkalla, and el cacahuatero but she had too many gems to count. Something to note about this performance is that this is not simply a cover of I will survive, the lyrics were completely changed for her interpretation. I don't know if she or the public knew about her deterioration from brain cancer when this was released, but certainly she'd known that she'd been an unstoppable star for 5 decades and that she was getting up there in her years. This version is about how she will always live on through song, through the love of her fans, and how she'd never stop singing. I really recommending reading an English translation of the lyrics yourself because they make me cry every time. RIP Celia, with love ❤
