God has blessed us with people like you and others who have these wonderful landscapes for us to see and enjoy ! Thank you ! Our youngest daughter for Mother’s Day gave me a plaque that says “ Grandma’s Garden” and it has our 4 Grandchildren listed next to their Birthday Month Flower ! It is so pretty. Love these new items! Yes, we have the smoke in central New York State and yes, somedays it is really smelly. I can’t imagine what it is like for those States closer to Canada, not to mention those in Canada. So sad to think about the fire and destruction it has caused to the land.

Good for you Mary! You’re so adventurous in trying new things! We’re also experiencing the Canadian fires smoke. My heart breaks for them, and some days it’s really awful. I hope your lavender makes it! Jeri, at Hopalong Hollow, lives on a very humid, hot east Tenn. She found a humidity tolerant lavender variety. I haven’t found it yet, but here in western NC it’s a sauna from July-August 🥵 and my lavender just can’t deal with it either. Thank you for the music, nature sounds, and lovely gardens! 🙌🏻🥰

I am drooling over the new designs!!! New t-shirt for me!! Mary, can you recommend one good greenery perennial for cutting to bring inside for vases? We travel often so don't have houseplants but I love the look of greenery in vases. Speaking of travel...my husband keeps talking about coming to your cottages....maybe in the fall. Love this video! I watched on my big screen smart TV too! Had my husband stop and look when some of the lillies showed. We can grow anything bulb lke but I forget to buy them. I worked for awhile in a grocery chain floral department. We had the pink lillies for boquets that smell really nice. But Id like to get the asiatic ones too. We retired rural high desert in Southern Californai. We are at 4,000 feet. We get down to 20s in Winter. This last year a week of snow but heavy heavy rains! Nothing in recorded history. But more snow in the Sierras which helps our drought. I bought lavender plants from a lavender ranch here. Its true English lavender. Make sure that is what you really have. Many things that are sages and hybrids many call lavender when they are not. There is also French lavender that I think is less hardy for winter. We cut ours back after all the blooms set in summer. It will bloom some again and do final cut down by about 2/3rd the plant in late summer. Sometimes I dont do that and the bush looks too stragley. I wish I could grow hostas here but too hot. We were like 3 months of 105 degrees in summer but this year seems more like 110 every day now. And humid. Also strange for high desert. Jokes about desert used to be ...well its a dry heat. Last summer humid too. I love hydrangeas and propagated them easy when living more coastal. I tried overwintering them and geraniums but just had in garage. Think I need a real heated greenhouse to overwinter. I have to plan ahead enough to get bulbs and rhisomes. We do have wild lilllies here. Well I think they naturalized out of early German settlers to this area to the mountains. So everyone has them in yards too.
Here in southeast PA we get the hazy smoke from the Canadian fires occasionally. It is amazing to me. I have the same fence from Lowe’s- you are right it looks good and keeps my dogs out of my flowers! My flowers are glad too! 😂
I love your new line for the flowers of the month and matching scripture to the flower meaning. And that you have a drawsting bag! I rescue tourist type tshirts from our little thrift and make drawstring bags! I sell a little at local farmers market and those sell well.
