- We're back with more Stellaris! The latest update introduced the Clone Army origin, which seems phenomenally powerful... especially when I convert them to a death cult! Oh yeah, and we'll be playing on Grand Admiral difficulty this time, so... death is a real possibility.

This looks more like a meme build rather than actual strategy, but that makes is even more fun
It's actually pretty solid, according to stellaris minmaxers and their comment sections.
Its all about getting super far ahead in the early game to just snowball like crazy. If you're still worried about getting extra pops in the mid-late game, then you will have more than enough to choose from from the many worlds you should've conquered.
I legit cringed though when he set up the automatic alloy sales. Pravus, no, that is arguably the most important resource in the game.

Clone Army Death Cult is one of the strongest combos in the game, it's like Technocracy and the 2.7 Prosperous Unification.
I've yet to watch the vid, but I'm alredy happy that you'r playing stellaris. My favourite strategist, and my favourite grandstrategy game.

I love that you're playing stellaris, it's one of my favorite games and I'm glad you seem to enjoy it like I do. One of my favorite builds in the Lem update is xenophobe and catalytic processing so that you can enslave pops into livestock, to to into food, which you process into alloys, which you build ships with to conquer more xenos to build more ships and so on. The very thought of having a titan made entirely of aliens that you enslaved just somehow sits right with my inner stellaris player.

So I recently got into Stellaris, and a few weeks later Pravus hits me with Stellaris gameplay after I didn't really watch him for a while. Gotta say, I am slightly delighted. Praise Pravus.

@@blackwolf2447 check out Quill18, he made a whole how to play stellaris video which explains everything in detail. Really not that complicated compared to some other grand strategy games like HOI4 or EU. Also, if you have game pass on PC you can download this game for free and learn the mechanics of it yourself.

Barely 7 minutes in and hes already doing things I never even knew were possible... And I've been playing this game long enough to remember Warp Engines as one of 3 means of interstellar travel.....

I'm so excited for the next A.I. update stellaris is a great game but the A.I. is lacking glad to see the devs know their priorities.

Breath of fresh air
Late to the vid but its sick to see! As someone who spends wayyyy to much time analyzing Stellaris this seems really powerful. No matter the difficulty early game matters more than anything. Death cult works great with vats as long as you are somewhat careful with management. Im excited to see where you take this, as Stellaris ends up being a better story telling game then strategy game usually but I think this could be a really interesting strategy set up.
I'm preparing to jump back into Sellaris and this is a super useful video; even if it's not intended to be a tutorial.
Early agression in grand admiral. good one. Grand Admiral AI gets stupid buffs, so you bassically can't deal with them early game. Esspecially if they have any sort of station.
There is scaling difficulty, and for really good players the AI is basically a joke even with its buffs.
@@justinthompson6364 scaling difficulty is turned off. You can see that. And I'm going to go out on a limb and day that pravus isn't a really good player. Even with the absurd perfected clones, and a tech rush, i don't think he'll be getting much early game agression, at least not successfully.
Then again, he does have 0.75 tech and tradition cost, and the AI is extremely stupid, so maybe he'll do good. I'm used to 1×, which kinda flips scaling a lot.

Played Stellaris a bit some time ago, but much to do got me away from it, before getting the itch for more. Watching this video will make me start the game up again I think. Thanks for this line of videos. Gonna watch this whole series.

Me who still plays 1.9.1:"Hmm, lets see, not sure about that". I havent kept up with all of the updates lately so I am actually curious to see how much has changed and how this goes. I think the series should go all the way to the crisis, I mean what is a Stellaris run without the crisis really, also in general series should go all the way in my opinion so we can get some closure and actually end the story in a way, though I understand that yt s algorithm may make this tough as you have spoken about before. Also damn you were flying through traditions there, I understand you focused on unity in a way but still. And a slight correction to wrap this comment up, you said at 11:14 adaptability might be new, actually no, it has always been a thing replacing the diplomacy tree for hive minds and machine empires, I literally have it for my 1.9.1 hive mind lol

doing the math, you will need at least 35 pops to break even with the crime lords decision.
+10 stability = +6% production
2 pops / 0.06 = 33 working pops
so need to have 35 pops (33 working + 2 criminals) to break even
so doing this before you get 35 pops will lose you net production
but by then, you are getting a third criminal, so this is always going to be an inferior decision.

Hi Pravus video series idea for you to think about. I was thinking why don't you make a rp section on your discord if you have one Idk. And then make a series on stellaris as a democratic nation allowing us as the audience to affect gameplay like deciding where to expand who to declare war on what's the main focus and who should be in charge and so on you could also make factions for the audience to join like the science faction expansion faction or the economic faction. Anyway hope you like the idea and ty for reading it.

Interesting build Pravus! I don`t have Humanoids or Necroids DLC, so this is very interesting. But also, clerks can be VERY powerful, especially with an early mercantile tree.
Nah, you never want unmodded Clerks. Merchants are far better.
