I agree with your comments regarding the old style instructions format. I learned a lot of technical terms via Airfix instructions in the late 60s and early 70s and have recently bought two early 60s Airfix naval models that have made me remember when I first learned the meaning of 'davits'. That went together fair better than some 80's kits! One observation if I may? I've never seen any rolling stock with polished buffers. A bit of lite rust weathering on those would be a fine finishing touch to an already great build. Nice one pal!
Thanks Mark, I hear what your saying about the buffers and your right, also seen them covered in grease, but this and all the other rolling stock just gonna be made and painted, no weathering effects or anything like that, I think :)
