I was talking to someone about investing, and they were saying how you can choose an EFT stock with a target date. Have you ever done that, what do you think about it? Is that something you advocate to your clients? The person I spoke to said that depending on how far out the target date is, the stocks may be weighted more heavily to growth stocks, and then as it gets closer to the stock, rebalance to be less volatile. Thoughts?
Yeah, target date funds are great! They typically shift more and more conservatively as you get older and closer to your retirement date. Super cool option if you're looking to take a hands-off approach!

Thank you
hey Brandon, does the dividend tax credit apply to dividends generated within an RRSP? or will withdrawing the dividends fm my RRSP be considered as a cash income and not dividend income? I have maxed my TFSA and investing the extra funds in a non registered trading account to make use of the dividend tax credit after I retire. Should I invest the extra cash in an RRSP instead? Love ur channel, keep up the amazing work.
Hmmm do you think investing again will be the right move ?
is there a way where you can lose money and have to owe it to a market?
Are you not going to upload weekly stock market reviews anymore?
I was talking to someone about investing, and they were saying how you can choose an EFT stock with a target date. Have you ever done that, what do you think about it? Is that something you advocate to your clients? The person I spoke to said that depending on how far out the target date is, the stocks may be weighted more heavily to growth stocks, and then as it gets closer to the stock, rebalance to be less volatile. Thoughts?
Yeah, target date funds are great! They typically shift more and more conservatively as you get older and closer to your retirement date. Super cool option if you're looking to take a hands-off approach!
Brandon Beavis Investing where would you usually find these? Like a blackrock eft, or vanguard, or what?
I only count 9 tips...whats #10?
Love the videos but ive been receiving items in the mail about voting on the boards of some of my investments should i be voting in these or ignoring them
Are there stiffer tax penalties if your day trading or swing trading from a TFSA. or will you pay the same amount in taxes as if you were in a cash or margin account?
