1:15 I’m not positive about in the wild shiny but I know for sure when shiny hunting the starters in FRLG you can instantly tell not by how the Pokémon looks but rather the Pokémon’s backdrop. For whatever reason it’s purple for normal and then a teal blue when you have the shiny. So quick way to not get tripped up like you and many of us have done lol my most recent hunt where I literally kept going “is it shiny” 👀 was in Violet hunting Cetoddle. That dude I swear in the shadows looked so shiny all the time. Great video 👍🏾

I did and am doing regular speed on my leaf green gba cartridge. Ive spent around 50 hours on it and have gotten 2 shinies, both around 3000. A charmander and a pidgey
If your pokemon is a different colour it means its sick so you should release it so it gets better and in 20 years it will come back and gove u the shinycharm3000 which lets u control ur shiny odds Source:trust me bro
I play fire red last month . Finding shiny wasn’t my main goal . I tried to collect all the held item available on fire red . I end up catch shiny Chansey while searching for lucky egg item and shiny Spearow with adamant nature while looking for sharp beak item . But funny thing is , I didn’t get both the item until now . august 14 2024 😂😂 . I guess looking for held item is far more challenging than finding shiny .
This is sus theyre all very under odds. It usually takes months just to get one shiny in the gen 3 games. 13:04 and also how do you have this many rare candies
The game was emulated, the only cheat I put in was for rare candies so I didn’t have to grind for levels It was a relatively quick challenge because I was able to speed up the game due to emulation, but the shiny odds weren’t adjusted at all. I got pretty lucky (except for the abra that went wayyy over odds haha)
@@Lamsauce So not only did you use speedup and save states but you also cheated in rare candies? Pokemon isn't even that grindy... It's a game meant for children yet people still cheat.... Should have at least RNG Manipulated the shinies because that's actually challenging and fun to do
Speeding up the game to speed up encounter rates makes it far from legit :/ full odds aside you're saving hundreds of hours by cutting corners like that

Best part is the 10s of thousands of resets, but not taking a small 4 minute detour back to Mt Moon for the Moonstone
I think the real reason is just jigglypuff looks better than wiggilytuff

How are you.. getting shinies in this game sub 3,000 resets back to back to back? Most people average 20-30k resets per shiny.

The slot machine isn't hard, you just need to use a metronome so you can get 777s really easily

I started doing this last week.. I did thousands of resets, literally 14 hours a day and couldn't get shiny charmander and gave up yesterday 😂
