Just throwing a little info out there. Your eggs don't hatch into shiny pokemon. They're shiny happens from the basket. If you use tools you can see everything from IV's gender, and shiny status before it even hatches. I don't finger wag at people who "chest" but it's your game so play how YOU want. I'm not your pops or LORD and master to pass judgment. I have a clean save that I use zero cheats with but that's just me. Nothing wrong with knowing the good and trading away the fodder.

I hatched a shiny dreepy in shield in 2045 eggs back in the year 2020 and had 100 left over eggs that I just hatched 4 years later and got a shiny on the last egg.
