Underrated pick for Rams / Jags in 1999-00. The Rams were the best offense in the league but the Jags only lost to one team all year (who they ran into three times).
2004 Pittsburgh goes 15-1 in Big Bens rookie season and fell 1 win short from having an all Pennsylvania Super Bowl against the Eagles. Of course the Steelers shit the bed against the Pats which became a regular theme and they went on to beat Philly in Super Bowl 39
No they could have played each other in 2008. That would have been incredible, Peyton with the MVP and Eli the returning champ. That would have been something!
@@Sephiroth766 - ya'll dont do much honework do ya? The 2007 Pats are considered on of the greatest teams to have been assembled. So the giants win was lucky and in a way bullshit. That Pats team was compared to the great teams such as the Raiders, Steelers, Dolphins. There no way they should have win that game without the MASSIVE luck they had, so NO, the giants wouldnt have beaten Peyton easily...they were a mediocre team at best with unlimited amounts of luck. Peyton would have stomped his little brother.
This video is 6 years old but if you updated it today, you can add Rams vs Chiefs in Super Bowl 53 to the list. It would have been only a couple months after their 54-51 Monday Night game and we were so close. Literally a lined up in a neutral zone brain fart away from that happening.
I'm still heartbroken over the game that the Packers blew against the seahawks in the NFC championship game back in 2014, dammit it should have been Patriots vs. Packers, the seahawks had no business winning that game!!
1981: Dan Fouts vs Joe Montana. Both were young guns. Would have been a fun Super Bowl. But instead we got Ken Anderson vs Joe Montana. The Super Bowl was a good game but man, Air Coryell vs. Bill Walsh's West Coast Offense could have been a blast.
Super Bowl LII: Steelers vs Eagles (Both teams play in Pennsylvania) Super Bowl LIII: Chiefs vs Saints (Battle of the Stars), Chiefs vs Rams (54-51), Patriots vs Saints (Brady vs Brees) Super Bowl LIV: Chiefs vs Packers (Rematch of Super Bowl I to cap off the 100th season. First meeting between Mahomes and Rodgers) Super Bowl LV: Chiefs vs Saints (Battle of the Stars)
I would have loved to see a Manning Bowl. Hear me out. Sure. Eli has never touched Peyton's numbers in the regular season, but in big games like the Super Bowl, Eli had always come through. Peyton has two wins of his own, but in between them, were losses, one being a VERY ugly affair. Would Eli rise to the big game challenge yet again, or would Peyton come out on top?
2007 was best chance but colts choked at home against the Chargers. 05 Divisional, 08 Divisional, and 10 Wild Card games still haunt me to this day because those are games everybody had us winning.
Jesus Manzo hopefully we can have Brady vs Rodgers next season but the chances don't seem to be good. We could of had Brady vs Brees this year but they blew it.
2018 Eagles vs Jaguars would have been LEGENDARY but as an Eagles fan, I’m still pretty happy with the Eagles beating Brady’s patriots with a back up QB.
Actually, #7 was closer the year BEFORE in 1993. Both the Chiefs and 49ers played in the conference championship. And it was absolutely a point the media was bringing up with Montana in his first year AND the specter of ANOTHER Cowboys/Bills Super Bowl (which everyone knew what was going to happen).
I actually think #10 should be a lot higher on this list and it's kind of forgotten about. That Rams team was the 6 seed because they had a bunch of injuries that year but they were healthy by playoff time and had blasted both the Giants and Vikings that season. No doubt in my mind that had they gotten past the Saints they would have cruised to face the Ravens.
2022 wouldve been the best chance weve ever had to see it They played each other in the game of the year that year and i really wanted to see it Because if the cook brothers diggs vs former team It couldve been a huge story line weve missed
as a vikings fan, it should be 7 Superbowl losses 98, 09, and 17-18 i was hoping this year we could be the first team to get and lose a home Superbowl....
I feel for you I’m a Bronco fan that would have been the greatest Super Bowl ever...I saw a video the other day of the ending of the last 20 NFC championships the Vikings were the only ones out of the teams that lost the NFC title game to now go to at least 1 Super Bowl 0-4...their day will come
it was painfully obvious that they weren't better than the Eagles when away. had the game been in MN i think it would have gone very differently. The vikings lost their season in week 14 when they let the Panthers win by 7 in the last 3 minutes.
Actually, we came much closer to getting a Montana-Young super bowl in the 1993 season. Both teams lost in the conference championship. 1994, 9ers won the Super Bowl while the Chiefs lost in the WC round
Yeah I agree. 1993 the Chiefs were really good. Niners were too but they lost to the Cowboys, and the Chiefs lost to the Bills so yes we were very close to seeing Montana vs Young in the SB.
Agreed. The Chiefs were only 9-7 in 1994 and needed to win 3 road games to get to a Super Bowl. They were not as good as some of the other teams in the AFC that year. The 93 Chiefs had a better team and a much better chance.
Logan Hackett you right arod was red hot winning 8 straight and got his team to the nfc championship game and when did brady ever do that I'm pretty sure if that ever happened pats would loose in the Superbowl against the packers
Yeah, and in my view the first and one of the best opportunities was following the 1978 season. If the Houston Oilers won against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It would've been ALL TEXAS. Landry vs Phillips and the headliner would've been the '76 Heisman Winner Tony Dorsett vs '77 Heisman Winner Earl Campbell.
If Houston didn't choke against Buffalo, you would've had it. The Oilers were the hottest team in the AFC at that point as they lost only 1 game by more than 7 points. They easily could've been the #1 seed.
SB34 - Broncos vs. Vikings SB25 - Bills vs. 49ers SB14 - Steelers vs. Cowboys III SB20 - Dolphins vs. Bears SB35 - Ravens vs. Rams SB42 - Patriots vs. Packers SB53 - Patriots vs. Saints SB46 - Patriots vs. Packers SB21 - Jets vs. Giants SB27 - Oilers vs. Cowboys SB28 - Chiefs vs. 49ers
Ryan and Brady produced the greatest NFL and Super Bowl of all time. The Braves lost the greatest World Series of all time in 1991 (2016 World Series was up there as well). You guys are bound to lose that AFC East sooner or later. The mighty dynasty Yankees failed to tie the Braves 14 consecutive division championships. You can talk about the World Series loses in the '90s but that one validate that dynasty. The aftermath of that great dynasty was 2 Wild Card Championships and 2 Division Championships with only 3 playoff game wins in the 2010s (Game 2 of the 2010 NLDS; Game 2 of the 2013 NLDS; and Game 3 of the 2018 NLDS). The Pats will hit that slump like all the dynasties before them. Last postseason, Braves almost came back from 2 games to none to forcing a Game 5 against the eventful NL Champs with a tired bullpen.
1993 was the more realistic year we could have had a Young Montana SB. Although neither made it to the SB that season, both Steve and Joe lost in the Conference games.
I’m a Giants fan, so it’s interesting to see how many potentially great Super Bowls we stopped from happening. Also, the dominance of the NFC in the 1980s and 90s meant that often the NFC Title game was more interesting than the Super Bowl. You’d routinely have matchups where last year’s champ would play the current year’s champ or next year’s champ. In the 1983 NFC Title game 1982’s champ Washington beat 1984’s champ 49ers. In ‘84 the champ 49ers beat the ‘85 champ Bears for the NFC Title. In rd 2 of ‘85 the champ Bears beat the ‘86 champ Giants. The week before the Giants beat the ‘84 champ 49ers. In the ‘86 NFC Title game the champ Giants beat ‘87 champ Washington. The week before Washington beat the ‘85 Bears in rd 2. In ‘90 the Champ Giants beat the 89 (& 88) champ 49ers for the NFC Title. In the ‘93 NFC Title game the champ Cowboys beat the ‘94 champ 49ers. In the ‘95 NFC Title game the champ Cowboys beat the ‘96 champ Packers. The week before the Packers upset the ‘94 champ 49ers. The ‘84-96 NFC was insane.
49ers with Jimmy G went 5-0, beat the Titans who were in the hunt and needed a win and the Jags who needed to win to stay in a 3 way tie with the Steelers and the Patriots for the #1 seed. These 49ers could have made a real splash in the NFC playoffs if they had won a few more at the start of the year instead of losing in OT. Imagine Jimmy G vs Brady. Imagube Kyle Shanahan who was the OC in th 28-3 choke job last year trying to get revenge?
Paul Gaither the 49ers are clearly not there yet. Yes, they got hot, but the teams they beat were not impressive. The 49ers were aweful, and just because they get Garrapolo, that does not make them good automatically. Granted, they do have potential because John Lynch seems to know what he is doing (I am so glad he is not broadcasting now; he was aweful). They could be good in a year or two, but not thos year with the NFC being the dominant conference.
The Titams and Jags were not good? They were playoff teams who won games and needed wins when they played the 49ers. It wasn't like the Rams in week 16 who packed it in. Earlier in the year they played a tough game againt the Panthers, took a healthy Cardinals team to over time and the Rams (number one offense) to over time as well at the start of the year. They are not there yet... but this team was playing hot since the end of november. They could have taken any team in the NFC in these playoffs. They beat the Jags defense so badly that they fell from #1 to #2 and #3 in many areas. Who in the NFC RIGHT NOW is better than how the 49ers were playing in December? I understand playoff football is tougher, but the 49ers HC is the guy who had the Falcons with a 28-3 lead in the Super bowl. They choked, but the point is that Kyle knows playoff football. He has been there before a few times.
Paul Gaither Teams better in the NFC right now: Vikings, Saints, Eagles, Panthers, Falcons, Rams, Cowboys, Packers, Seahawks. Plus, the Jaguars and Titans are two mediocre teams in the AFC that is much weaker than the NFC. Or at least the NFC is much deeper. If you want to contend that the 49ers could be good, then fine. But to say that they DESERVE TO BE IN THE SUPER BOWL is too big of a stretch I think. They got hot at the end. Maybe there will be some momentum. But this is not a 12-4 number two seed team. Just isn't.
I always wanted to see a Manning Bowl. Peyton with The Colts & Eli with The Giants that would've been great! Also wanted to see Aaron & Brady in the Bowl or Owens/Moss in the Bowl wonder who would've had the better game and one of them (T.O/Moss) would've walked away with a ring on their finger
1. Saints v Chiefs SB53 2. Packers v Patriots SB49 (Seahawks-Pats to SB48) 3. Vikings v Broncos SB33 4. Patriots v Saints SB46 5. Dolphins v Bears SB20 6. Saints v Bills SB27 7. Packers v Chiefs SB55 8. Rams v Ravens SB34 9. Chargers v 49ers SB16 10. Colts v Seahawks SB40
As a patriot fan i heard that tom brady might be retiring soon and i think its our last time we might be in the superbowl next season well its my prediction
Brady isnt retiring anytime soon who the f told u that? Hes already stated he will play til mid 40s..so around 45. Besides if it aint broke dont fix it. The guy isnt getting any worse yet and his health and body are still in immaculate shape for what he does so fuck all that retiring talk its a lie. I too would also like to see the pats in another superbowl. I want Brady to get 7 and then he can hang it up.
I would love to see the Cleveland browns and the Detroit lions in the superbowl. Both team have never gone to the Super Bowl and seeing them in it for the first time would be amazing.
The Super Bowl I dream matchup was a good one. Packers-Chiefs is so historically iconic it's hard to imagine any other team winning the first Super Bowl. But Dallas did almost win the NFL championship that year, and the trophy could've been named the Landry.
on paper it sounds good but realistically it would be SB 48 all over again. the 2000 Ravens were just downright nasty, the Rams were lucky they werent the ones getting humiliated that night.
It would've been cool to see a Pennsylvania super bowl of Eagles vs Steelers in 2004 or 2008. One game away from it happening both years with the Steelers losing in 2004 and the Eagles not doing their part in 2008.
Panthers vs Jaguars in 1996 should have been on here. Both teams were in just their second year and made it to their conference championships only to lose.

I would love to see joe montana vs peyton manning or even tom Brady vs drew brees
Steeler Nation we were supposed to have Brady vs Brees but Marcus Williams had other plans
6rofoni 5lim 🤣
Montana vs Peyton? Uhh...
6rofoni 5lim as a saints fan. That hurt lol
Tom Brady vs Drew Brees would be great
The greatest matchup would be Payton Manning’s colts vs Eli Manning ny Giants
Jahdagoat 10 man that wouldn't be cool at all
KissTheBlarneyStone lol peyton be like hell no
Why not with the broncos? The colts we're good but Peyton performed best with Denver.
2015 Broncos defense vs 2007 Giants defense
Carlos Lopez don’t compare the 2007 giants defense to the 2015 broncos.
Browns vs. Giants would've been a great one in the '86 season.
Underrated pick for Rams / Jags in 1999-00. The Rams were the best offense in the league but the Jags only lost to one team all year (who they ran into three times).
I got a Saints joke...
Wait I lost it at the last second
magic jumpluff 🤣
magic jumpluff There's still time tell the joke
LMFAOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! XD
magic jumpluff lmfaooo😂😂😂
magic jumpluff lol
2004 Pittsburgh goes 15-1 in Big Bens rookie season and fell 1 win short from having an all Pennsylvania Super Bowl against the Eagles. Of course the Steelers shit the bed against the Pats which became a regular theme and they went on to beat Philly in Super Bowl 39
And that was almost Super Bowl 43, only there you had the Eagles falling short in the championship round.
I’d have loved to have seen a Manning vs Manning super bowl
Jonas Hornuff Peyton is better but Eli would’ve won.
2007 was the only year it could have happened and Giants win easily
No they could have played each other in 2008. That would have been incredible, Peyton with the MVP and Eli the returning champ. That would have been something!
Jonas Hornuff bruh! Best thing iv seen all day!
NFL vs WatchMojo.
en ef el
NFL
This video is 6 years old but if you updated it today, you can add Rams vs Chiefs in Super Bowl 53 to the list. It would have been only a couple months after their 54-51 Monday Night game and we were so close. Literally a lined up in a neutral zone brain fart away from that happening.
Patriots vs. Packers - Super Bowl XLII
Forget about Brady vs. Rogers, It's a damn crime that we never got Brady vs. Favre.
I'm still heartbroken over the game that the Packers blew against the seahawks in the NFC championship game back in 2014, dammit it should have been Patriots vs. Packers, the seahawks had no business winning that game!!
Jim Garner and then to flop so hard. Disgraceful
well they did because packers only played 55 minutes of the game.
Brady wouldve taken it, besides Favre was a pill head anyways...always loaded up on vicodin...fuckin junkie
I would've loved to seen a Manning Super Bowl
Yeah
I definitely thought we were going to get 1.
Steve Atwater, Romocop, Ed McCaffrey, John Mobley, are true legends. One of the greatest teams ever. the '96-'98 Denver Broncos.
Manning and Rodgers super bowl would of been great
Peyton manning bro
Brendan McKinley If Aaron Rodgers was in the Afc
The packers are in the NFC the Colts/Broncos are in the AFC
Eminem Fan eli vs Peyton
Eminem Fan Fortunately we got to see Brady and Manning quite a bit. I wish we could see Brady vs Brees
2023: Chiefs vs Lions
This wouldve happened if Lions didnt had a historic collapse
Super Bowl LII: Steelers vs Eagles (Both teams play in Pennsylvania)
Super Bowl LIII: Chiefs vs Saints (Battle of the Stars), Chiefs vs Rams (54-51), Patriots vs Saints (Brady vs Brees)
Super Bowl LIV: Chiefs vs Packers (Rematch of Super Bowl I to cap off the 100th season. First meeting between Mahomes and Rodgers)
Super Bowl LV: Chiefs vs Saints (Battle of the Stars)
Jimmy GQ vs tom brady would be lit asf
I would have loved to see a Manning Bowl. Hear me out. Sure. Eli has never touched Peyton's numbers in the regular season, but in big games like the Super Bowl, Eli had always come through. Peyton has two wins of his own, but in between them, were losses, one being a VERY ugly affair. Would Eli rise to the big game challenge yet again, or would Peyton come out on top?
2007 was best chance but colts choked at home against the Chargers. 05 Divisional, 08 Divisional, and 10 Wild Card games still haunt me to this day because those are games everybody had us winning.
Justin Dinkins Yeah. As much as I love the Giants ending Pats bid for perfection, I would have preferred the Colts making it to the Super Bowl.
Brady vs Rodgers and Brady vs Brees would have been epic SB’s.
Jesus Manzo hopefully we can have Brady vs Rodgers next season but the chances don't seem to be good. We could of had Brady vs Brees this year but they blew it.
Aaron Rodgers vs Tom Brady lit af
I wanted to see that so bad, and i still do, maybe if Tom Brady plays long enough.
2018 Eagles vs Jaguars would have been
LEGENDARY
but as an Eagles fan, I’m still pretty happy with the Eagles beating Brady’s patriots with a back up QB.
Jags would’ve gotten blown out
More like Vikings vs Patriots
I would love to see the 0-4 Vikes vs the 0-4 Bills this year.
2022 wouldve been the best chance weve ever had to see it
They played each other in the game of the year that year and i really wanted to see it
Because if the cook brothers diggs vs former team
It couldve been a huge story line weve missed
Giants ruined so many dream matchups lol. Not complaining, three of these we won the super bowl
Im a Vikings fan, and I completely agree with #1. We should have 5 Super Bowl loses!
as a vikings fan, it should be 7 Superbowl losses 98, 09, and 17-18
i was hoping this year we could be the first team to get and lose a home Superbowl....
I feel for you I’m a Bronco fan that would have been the greatest Super Bowl ever...I saw a video the other day of the ending of the last 20 NFC championships the Vikings were the only ones out of the teams that lost the NFC title game to now go to at least 1 Super Bowl 0-4...their day will come
Revan I understand 98 and 09 but you should know the Vikings weren't the best team in he NFC this year and it was painfully obvious
it was painfully obvious that they weren't better than the Eagles when away. had the game been in MN i think it would have gone very differently. The vikings lost their season in week 14 when they let the Panthers win by 7 in the last 3 minutes.
Revan Maybe, but don't act like the Vikings were robbed like they were by Bounty Gate, Blair Walsh l, and Gary Anderson.
Yep, ‘98 Vikings broke my heart into pieces 😢
I was stunned the 1998 Vikings lost that game. Falcons were a decent team but no way were they were supposed to win that game.
We also missed out on a Rodgers vs Brady Superbowl last year
And this year
Go pack
Logan Hackett yea but fuck the falcons and fuck the Packers go cowboys
Patrick Calnan Packers didn't make playoffs
Logan Hackett you right arod was red hot winning 8 straight and got his team to the nfc championship game and when did brady ever do that I'm pretty sure if that ever happened pats would loose in the Superbowl against the packers
Best Super Bowl matchup to me:
1985 Bears vs. 2007 Patriots
I’d say the 85’ bears vs the dolphins was the best Super Bowl we missed
Well I was three but that would have been an amazing one for sure.
The defense bowl Tampa Bay-Baltimore '99-03
Greatest shows on turf Indy-St Louis 99-03
Dude there in the division
'80-'81 Air Coryell vs Dallas Doomsday
Brees vs Brady
Being from Texas I would love to see a Texas bowl. Two teams from opposite ends of the state. That would be awesome.
Vikings
SB25 - Bills vs. 49ers
SB14 - Steelers vs. Cowboys III
SB20 - Dolphins vs. Bears
SB35 - Ravens vs. Rams
SB42 - Patriots vs. Packers
SB53 - Patriots vs. Saints
SB46 - Patriots vs. Packers
SB21 - Jets vs. Giants
SB27 - Oilers vs. Cowboys
SB28 - Chiefs vs. 49ers
As a Pat's fan I've always wanted either a Brady vs. Rodgers or Brady vs. Brees Super Bowl the only greats left in the league
Adil Janjua lol you really sound stupid kid
Adil Janjua Brees couldn’t smoke our defense when we were playing like dog shit what makes you think he would do it now that we have improved? Kid
Rodgers definitely not a great over rated trash. he's on the rivers Wilson smith tier
@@hell-sol5240 actually Wilson would be on the greats tier.
This year we missed out on a great browns team vs a great bears team
Haha lol
E K 😂
Redskins didn't beat the Cowboys in the 1991 playoffs.
I want teams from the same division to be able to compete in the super bowl against eachother. Not just AFCvsNFC
Papapàap
palla
Alalalalala
49ers with Jimmy G went 5-0, beat the Titans who were in the hunt and needed a win and the Jags who needed to win to stay in a 3 way tie with the Steelers and the Patriots for the #1 seed.
These 49ers could have made a real splash in the NFC playoffs if they had won a few more at the start of the year instead of losing in OT.
Imagine Jimmy G vs Brady. Imagube Kyle Shanahan who was the OC in th 28-3 choke job last year trying to get revenge?
Paul Gaither jimmy g is gunna be good but we all need to calm down he had like 7 TDs and 5 INTs in his starts this year
Paul Gaither the 49ers are clearly not there yet.
Just isn't.
Paul Gaither Kyle was a oc. Not a dc. The defensive let all those points
Lions vs Browns, rematch of the 59 championship
You mean 1957. 59 was Baltimore over the Giants.
@@mattm4444 actually the Browns and Lions met in the Championship more than once in the 50s
@@ck-1649 Yes they did, but OP said 1959 which is incorrect. Baltimore and NY played in 1959 for the title.
I would have loved to see a all Pennsylvania bowl we almost had three time
1. Saints v Chiefs SB53
2. Packers v Patriots SB49 (Seahawks-Pats to SB48)
3. Vikings v Broncos SB33
4. Patriots v Saints SB46
5. Dolphins v Bears SB20
6. Saints v Bills SB27
7. Packers v Chiefs SB55
8. Rams v Ravens SB34
9. Chargers v 49ers SB16
10. Colts v Seahawks SB40
Man we just missed Brady and Brees 2019
Wentz vs Rodgers in the NFC championship game to play Brady in the SB would be 🔥🔥🔥🔥
We didn't get a Rodgers vs Brady Super Bowl but we did get the NFC Championship between the 2
Really wanna see Rodgers vs. Brady Super Bowl, but at the same time, don't want to see the Patriots in another super bowl
Paul True ouch this aged bad
I would love to see the Cleveland browns and the Detroit lions in the superbowl. Both team have never gone to the Super Bowl and seeing them in it for the first time would be amazing.
Plus both teams were elite in the 1950s & often faced each other in championship games that decade.
This list would’ve been a great episode of the old hour-long NFL Top 10
The Super Bowl I dream matchup was a good one. Packers-Chiefs is so historically iconic it's hard to imagine any other team winning the first Super Bowl. But Dallas did almost win the NFL championship that year, and the trophy could've been named the Landry.
Hard to imagine " The Laundry Trophy" but you're right! 🤔
the greatest show on turf vs the 2000 ravens would've been a lit ass super bowl
on paper it sounds good but realistically it would be SB 48 all over again. the 2000 Ravens were just downright nasty, the Rams were lucky they werent the ones getting humiliated that night.
22 years later, I still can't believe Az Hakim fumbled that punt!
As a colts fan I wouldn’t have minded losing to the Vikings as a much as the saints. I was bummed when Favre threw that INT in the Championship game.
That was a thing of beauty
It would've been cool to see a Pennsylvania super bowl of Eagles vs Steelers in 2004 or 2008. One game away from it happening both years with the Steelers losing in 2004 and the Eagles not doing their part in 2008.
08 was as close as we got considering Philly had a late 4th quarter lead at Arizona
Panthers vs Jaguars in 1996 should have been on here. Both teams were in just their second year and made it to their conference championships only to lose.
Always wanted to see Niners and Patriots
you forgot 2003: browns vs buccaneers. that would have been awesome, man.
@Rowdy Jr. Browns vs. Giants in SB 21. Instead we had to watch the Broncos get blown out.
@@BillGraper you're not the only one here about that. If the Browns did go to both Super Bowls in 86 and 87, they would've done better than the Broncos
The first 2 were perfect! Also think the rams vs 2000 ravens would've been good. The 49ers vs the k-gun ,and the 1980 49ers vs raiders would've been great!
I love when the 2007 18-1 Super Bowl is mentioned. That Super Bowl lives forever!
- Forever & always!!! :-D
Yes indeed.
I'm a HUGE Packers fan and just want to see a Rodgers vs. Brady game, do I can't wait for next year! Hopefully we'll see a rematch in the Super Bowl
Bennett Veith we play the pats next season so hopefully we beat them with Rodgers
