I sat this Bradley next to my Tamiya 1/16th Abrams and its almost the same size. I have worked along side both vehicles and the Bradley is taller in real life, but the Abrams is wider and more girthy, and lower to the ground than the Bradley IFV. We use to call it a bread box on tracks or bullet magnet.
That’s very cool 🙂 and it’s a shame they told porky pies about the scale, thought it would compliment my Abrams. Let me know how you get on with it, and thanks for taking the time to say hi! 👍
Try AliExpress, loads of them on there, and it came straight from the factory anyway, so in some respects it’s way cheaper to do AliExpress. Normally DKLMRC check all before delivery, if I’d have know it was straight from factory I wouldn’t have bothered with DKLMRC. Thanks for watching, and sorry for slow reply, works been nuts Have a great week!
Hi! And thank you for watching! Means a lot to me and the channel, and I’ll try my best, hopefully I won’t bore the hell out of you in the process!. Have a great Saturday 🙂👍
Is the leopard serie finished? Great video about the servo swap? Maybe is the problem the servo backlash. All brands have scale torence to compensate the scale difference to use standerd tools(gesrbox, turrent ring ect)
Hi! No the leopard has another 5? Vids, I thought I’d give it a break for a week because I wasn’t sure if I was boring the hell out of you all!. And I think it has something to do with that, if DKLMRC dont pop out there Bradley parts as upgrades it definitely isn’t compatible. I’ll stick the next bit up for the leopard next Friday, it’s the vinyl sticker application, and a complete disaster with a second can of humbrol varnish 🤦♂️ Thanks so much for watching and putting up with my stuff! 🙂 Have a great Saturday!
Tongde Bradley is about 1/14.7. They make it bigger to fit standard gearboxes. Also not only Tongde but also Mato have very poor quality servos inside.
I'm finding this myself unfortunately in a Mato Sherman. When plugged into the Clark board separately, both elevation and recoil work. When both plugged in, the recoil works but the elevation glitches.
Hi! I think it’s nuts, there’s so much space the gear boxes should have still fitted, sometimes I question the he sanity of the R&D of companies 😂. I think it’s a bit stranger that one scale, it’s like 2 scales depending on what’s measured, just nuts!. And I guess it’s the cheapest they can get, probably the company’s that make the KO Tower pro servos. Thanks so much for watching and making contact, makes the channel worth it! Have a great Saturday! 😀
You know Michał, fitting gearboxes is not an excuse to mix up scales, why didn't they then created a bit bigger Bradley, let us say, exactly in 1/14 or even 1/12? Such a scale mix does not do any good here
Oh yes, mine can’t get it up….. I’m going to try and fix it and I’ll video it. Just been stuck on the T-72AV at the moment. Thanks for watching, and have a great weekend!
Just got the full metal version of this...the turret turning has failed straight from the box so...what else awaits me :( keep a working and hope you get all sorted.
Hi! i know, its quite a bit of money for not quite the right scale, and the build quality is a bit heng long from 2005, if you know what i mean. I've stuck mine away till i get the urge to do something with it. They are releasing a Churchill in the new year, but it now worry's me that that will be 1/16thish, i don't think they make the equation that if the product cost more. but were accurate put of the box, we'd pay it. Drives me nuts, and the heng long Merkava looked really good, then they fit it with torsion bar suspension, i now it runs better, but its not right! (sorry its my OCD! 🤣) Happy Christmas, and thanks for watching, really appreciate you giving your time to watch my nonsense!
Mr Tank, it is extremely easy to count the scale whether it is or is not correct... the real Bradley MPC is about 6,5 m long, 3,3 m wide and 2,9 m high which give us: L- 40,9 cm, W- 20,6 cm and H-18,2 cm. Measure it and let us know, because I would like to buy a similar one from Tong De, but I am hesitating - viewing what is on the box (dimension) it seems it is between scale 1:15 and 1:14 (precisely speaking 1:14,88 hehe), as for the servo I would rather pick up the full metal version - a bit more expensive, but I suppose better manufactured
exactly, i run the numbers too just after i got it, and its not in any scale really, its as I say stand off scale. The stupid thing is, the gearboxes are small enough to fit the hull, i can only think its the turret lifting mech that made them make it a mish mash of sizes. if they had just made it 1/14th and not lied i'm sure they would have still sold them well, now its just disappointing again.
@@mrtankalotrctankschannel I totally agree, since this is not such a popular model throughout the whole market, plus if we have Abramses, HMVVS and so, not counting vehicle trailers or similar, it would have completed the whole overall collection of american vehicles quite well to any RC model fan and collector, with this mixed-up scales it can only discourage to buy one...
Hi Ive always gone for tower pro ones, and if possible metal gears. But be a bit careful where you get them, there are knock off servos on eBay, and some Amazon stockist. Thanks for commenting and watching, really means a lot. Have a great Saturday 🙂
Thanks for the video. I’m waiting for someone to 3D print a “better” TOW middle box with more articulation as well as the moveable cover. Maybe later even a replacement servo-operated rear door!
be honest, you wish you could have send it back to Tong De for a full refund as replacing the plastic bearings and gearboxes and tracks cost a bloody fortune.. oh and so do the metal suspension arms. i noticed the gun motor wires where running over a brace that holds the motor in, why not feed them under the brace, looks like there is enough room for them and the vibrations won't kill the soldering job as quickly. also personally i would have used the metal geared servo to replace the fried one.. yes the Solder Sucker can get you in trouble if you use it for other stuff then solder. after your review i decided NOT to get one, i am the unhappy owner of a Tong De m60 and the bloody thing had no bearings in it.. 0.. nada, noppes nothing and some parts where broken the plastic gearboxes lasted shorter then a McDonald hamburger and it cost me over 300 USD to get the drive train metal, i put in 2 heng long gearboxes, reinforced the suspension and now it works.. but i hate it so much that when my son asked to run it i said he can whenever he wants to.
Hi! Yes it’s not the best, and I just can get enthusiastic about it because it’s not the right scale. It’s can put up with stuff if it’s the right dimensions, but to state 1/16th when it’s just not is a bit underhanded. I will do it up for my boy, he wants NATO camo, so could be a good tutorial. Sounds like a Massey Ferguson tractor, surely a modern MICV doesn't sound so agricultural
I know, i think it needs plugs and leads! 😂
Sounds a bit rough on start up too
Yep, I think it needs plugs and points! 😂 I don’t know why they don’t make there boards sound programmable, they would kill all the aftermarket stuff.
I think I will pass on this one MrT, thx for the review
Don’t blame you, it was a bit of a let down with the scaling
Did any of you run into the problem where the TOW doesn't come all the way to the fully deployed position?

I think the Bradley is a very “fluid” scale 🙂
