Nothing against Cody, but this is more a byproduct of my respect for Roman, so natural bias is at play. Again, doesn't make me better or more plugged, quite the opposite actually as it's a part of my life as opposed to my entire life, but just my two cents. Caveat that I grew up aa big Bret Hart fan, went through my nWo phase, was indifferent to the Rock and SC, but respected them mightily, praise Cena for literally carrying the most recent generation and in awe of Roman doing the same, almost to a higher degree. To me, he's taken the best of the best of every generation, fought through years and years of uneasiness cringe, poor booking and a really sad "face" that was honestly hard to watch at times.... until COVID... and until he became the HOTT and TC unequivocally...that said, love the Bloodline angle, completely understand how Cody/Brock run in parallel with Seth playing interference, until the inevitable part deus next WM. And everything, absolutely everything points to a Cody win, Roman dethrone (which I lamented to happen this year), and well-deserved time off for him prior to a big return. But, he is still prime....not at Brock/Edge point of career, let alone Taker, where PT makes sense and a Hollywood emergence past FATF becomes fact...I just hope it doesn't go the Cena route but he is undeniably a star that transcends the business... you can't take bumps forever and he will quickly realize he can make a lot more money by taking a lot less punishment...still doesn't put me at ease to the eventual outcome...he can't hold the title forever....can he?
