Thank you for your video. I am a teacher in America and a story my students are reading mentioned a little boy from a Russian village and I wanted them to see what life was like outside of the cities. You did a wonderful job, giving a window into what this looks like.

@@ladabride Yes, I feel it was interesting and real. It shows normal people doing normal things and my students can see that no matter where we live in the world we often do the same things. I would love for you to continue with your videos. Students like to see how things work. How things are made. I would like to hear stories from the elders. Traditions that people still follow. Foods that are prepared. I teach with a world view, so anything that shows how people really do things is great. Gardening. What a beautiful garden you showed us. Hearing about how to make the tea, and the child just standing there eating berries, reminds me of my childhood. Seeing the changes during winter would be incredible. Thank you for your reply.

This is exactly what my life looked like for a year in Russia. We got a huge property in a village and farmed it. At the very end of the property was a lake with tons of fish in it. There was a store a couple miles away if I wanted something a bit more fancy to eat, etc.

Looks beautiful, reminds me of some of the smaller villages in Slovakia. I would rather live here than in a city. Any day. Good food, good atmosphere , great people. And most importantly POTATOES! I see some dill weed in there too, you can’t have pickles without dill. Wish I could spend a week there.
