There is nothing wrong with buying cheap clothing. I make over a 100k and I buy all my clothes at second hand shops or on eBay for specials. There is no reason to pay $60.00 for blue jeans when you can get them for $4.00 at a second hand shop.
The only reason you can get that secondhand pair of jeans is because it was well made and the fabric is high grade denim, otherwise it would be falling apart after one season. I worked in retail part-time at a very nice department store. If you bought a coat there or denims, you could wear it for season after season. You may only pay $4 for used jeans but you probably have to replace them more often. I had clothes that I finally passed along to charity but knew there was still wear left in them and they still looked good. If you buy classic lines and colors, good fabric and good craftmanship will last a long time. Jeans last a long time because they were originally made for hard, dirty work and needed to hold up over time. Not sure about the stuff today.
I disagree. My mom gave me some great advice on this subject growing up.....buy good quality and it will last you a long time. It's true. I don't buy trends just style (in fashion) that way it never goes out of style and you can buy quality. The Little Black Dress will never go out of style. I have 3 pair of Cole Haan Driving shoes that I bought in 1984 that I am still wearing today. 34 years and they still not only have conformed to my feet but the leather still looks beautiful. They have aged beautifully and they style has not changed. But if you buy cheap and trendy, you will be having to rebuy constantly and you end up spending way more money in the long run. I don't think it is smart to buy cheap. I think it's the opposite. I just want more bang for my buck.
@@scruffy281 I guess it depends on the product. Some products like basic bathroom stuff, boxers, socks, hoodie's, shorts, gym shoes, gym clothes, I'll buy dirt cheap. Other stuff like shoes for certain occasions, suits, and certain jeans I'll spend more money on it
It's actually far less expensive in the long run to invest in high quality clothing that can last for 5-10 years than constantly buying disposable fashion which is usually unethical in many ways as well.
When I lived in Russia I bought a wool suit fully lined made in Russia for $15. Love it wore and wore and it's good. It's a classic style (old money type) never goes out of style.

Hi Valeria, I could not help but notice a lot of familiar brand names that we see here in Canada. The prices are quite a bit less than what you would pay here. I have heard from store owners whom I know well that the prices in a country be it Russia or Canada has nothing to do with how much it cost to make the item but what the companies that sell them. I think the cheap clothes s good to buy, as long as you get a good use of it, and since fashion tends to change a lot, it’s good. Cheap clothes and shoes for growing kids is a very smart thing to do. Kids grow so quickly. This was so cool to watch.
Most Americans have this same idea of buying cheap clothing... even slightly used clothing we will buy...all the nice clothes you may see on T.V. or movies or magazines... no one is really wearing such nice clothing... or very very few people, are. I really like this store! Thank you for sharing this information 😁 I also like the items that you chose... In America the poor shop from cloths that have been used and donated. Used but still good condition. Maybe donated away because they didn't like the fit after wearing a couple of times. We donate what we no longer need or want that is still good. It is also environmentally good so that garbage dump does not over flow.
I rather dress at second hand, because it is cheaper and if it is still in good condition it shows that the quallity is there. Better than gambling with clothes that were likely made somewhere in Lithuania or Poland's basement.
Interesting how poor people live, a small house can make you poorer if you cannot have room to store things on special. Try to keep winter coat and boots, if hard times critical to deal with happens , it could save your life. Like ww2. I like your vids a lot.
I never spend a lot on clothes! I got a good job too, I just don't see the point in buying a brand name. Most of the off brands look just as good. I get decent shoes though because I'm on my feet a lot.

Amazing and sad. Here in america, the poor will repair their clothes over and over. If we grow out of them or inherit them via our relatives death, we either sell at a garage sale, flea market/swap meet, or donate to charity for the charity to give to the poorest of the poor and or sell very cheaply to fund their charitable services. I repair my clothes, even my shoes, multiple times. Of course, not all americans are like me and some do throw away good clothes. And some of us gather the thrown away to clean, repair (if needed) and wear, sell, or give away to charity.

I was wondering if you could make a video on second hand items and used clothing it would be interesting to see the prices and what you can find there. Here in Canada and USA, there are many such stores like Value VIllage, Talize, Goodwill etc.. Would make for a good comparison video if such stores exist in Russia. Thanks!
There is, this "second hand"
Love Russia 🇷🇺 a lot. Lots of love from India 🇮🇳.
Wow what’s the name of that store? We buy cheap clothes too . Are they on line?
Did you get the name of the store?
@@queentwyla Did you? Please share.
Love these 'undercover' videos. I feel like you are telling me a secret. More please. 🙂
I would very happily shop here. A variety of standard and useful goods at value for money prices.
Very informative,than you !
Will send pay pal!
My friends and I would spend all day there they have everything
In America the poor shop from cloths that have been used and donated. Used but still good condition. Maybe donated away because they didn't like the fit after wearing a couple of times. We donate what we no longer need or want that is still good. It is also environmentally good so that garbage dump does not over flow.
I rather dress at second hand, because it is cheaper and if it is still in good condition it shows that the quallity is there. Better than gambling with clothes that were likely made somewhere in Lithuania or Poland's basement.
Its cheaper than even India. Very reasonable price. I guess rental cost of store itself jacks up at least 25% cost here.
Hi, Your videos are interesting and honest. Is there any flea market for old russian soviat magazines(books) ..!! ?? I really miss them..!! Would it be possible for you to make any videos on old soviat magazines(books) ..!!! Happy new year 🎊 Greetings from India 🇮🇳 🙏
Worldwide shaming from ones who r wealthier such a shame JUDGING A BOOK BY ITS COVER SHAME
I don't understand why the lady is defining the shoppers as poor , maybe she is suffering from some kind of inferiority complex , but anyway thanks for showing a really good store with good quality stuff, with reasonable prices .This actually shows that people in Russia live very well and don't have to spend too much money to wear good things.
WONDERING IF THEY HAVE THRIFT STORES THERE LIKE HERE IN VANCOUVER...WE HAVE 'VALUE VILLAGE' & 'SALLY ANN' (SALVATION ARMY) CLOTHING STORES...THESE ARE LARGE CHAIN STORES THAT SELL ALL KINDS OF MERCHANDISE, NOT JUST CLOTHING, BUT, ALL SECOND HAND...I PREFER SHOPPING FOR SECOND HAND, NOT NEW...;)
Really appreciate ur information
Looks like Tj Maxx but organized and clean.
Nice store. And only genuine stuff:Adibas,Mike,Neu Balance,Plima,The south face...
In Russia, this is not accepted. If a person dies, then his clothes and things are thrown into the garbage. Even the bed on which he slept.
@@АлексейКириллов-и3ч no, not necessarily. I guess some people have prejudices against using "dead peoples' clothes" but not everyone. My mother donated Granny's clothes (of course, those that were good) to the local church.

Nice video and good prices
russia is a great place
Madam,
good
Thanks & Regards
They may need a stop light one day lol, another cool video, thanks
Great prices, interesting to see, thank you
Is Russia always cold, rainy or snowy? I see snow in almost every video. Do you have a nice summer there with warm weather? Your videos are so interesting.
Don`t belive to this. People don`t throw winter closes away after one season.
And some people even don`t buy winter closes, but wear second-hand after far relatives
loved your video
Like your other followers I like watching and learning about your country. You are very blessed to live there with a president like you have
