The description says it hold 194lbs. How can that be when the thing is just hanging on the stock tailgate? Isn't it still going to damage your tailgate (make it droop, damage the welds) if your tire is over 100 lbs or so?

HardyHarz all good so far. I actually just got some different wheels "more negative offset" and have. Chance to look around at the welds , no noise, welds look fine. I really like not having to mess with lugnuts.

Haven't weighed the tire. I check the welds on the gate everytime I open it. No signs of problems yet. 100% happy. So far
