Awesome bro . The Navi looks like it’s holding up great 🔥. Hope the new job is treating u good
hope the new job is going great!
The brakes have indicators on them to show how worn they are so that you don't bring them in when unnecessary. The spark plug only needs to be checked at those intervals. If the electrode is still good, clean and re-gap as necessary. When replacing the belt, compress the discs so that you can stretch the belt more and not pinch it. Torque specs are important. Too loose and you'll have a serious problem. Too tight and you could be replacing components/studs. You should spin the rear wheel when draining the oil from the final drive as it helps to push the oil out. Might be a good idea to use some carb cleaner and lube your cables as part of maintenance.
Thanks for the advice!
What you mean by lube your cables?
Mini motos are sooo easy to maintian i have a pcx 150 and it's easy too that's why i don't have plans to buy a bigger bike
Great shared nice video
If the dealer ripped you off why not give them some free air time??
Belt just snap 2 miles from my house at 6860
I don’t know why Honda recommends to change it at 15k miles. All moto mechanics recommend changing scooter belts 3k-5k miles. Especially if it’s just the oem belt. Hope you got that fixed, lucky you weren’t too far from home! Ride safe!
I’m trying to fix my navi belt rn and it looks like I have everything in place but when I try to start it and test it the wheel won’t spin. I think something may be loose because I hear a metal piece click when I stop pressing the ignition but idk what it could be 😅 any ideas?
My point of reference was to put everything back the way it looked when I took off the cover. Sometimes taking pictures with your phone helps. Probably your belt isn’t catching cuz it’s not seated properly. Try watching some more in depth videos on YT to get an idea. I think Rolling Wrench’s video is pretty good since he shows everything he does under the CVT cover. Good luck!
If all else fails, try posting on Navi FB groups or Reddit. You might get better help there.
How does the roller upgrade feel?
Adds a little punch! The lighter the rollers, the higher the rpms, the bigger the punch down low!
@getphatfood I used 15g rollers for a bit, then I went to 12g with a new clutch and variator, put 1000rpm springs in the clutch, feels like a whole new bike. Keep grinding man, love the channel.
Would you ever do an airbox delete and put intake on the carb?
I wouldn’t but that’s just me. For the most part I like it to be stock. But hey if you’re trying to squeeze as much speed and acceleration out of your Navi, go for it!
What gear oil are you using?
I got gear oil from oreilly’s. They don’t have the exact spec that it says in the manual but it’s close. I forget the numbers haha
