As the PR group used buzzwords like “reliability” and “rider capacity” when they announced the dismantling of Volcano instead of being transparent about what really caused the closure, it doesn’t surprise me they’ve been silent about the closure of ET and Delirium.
What was the real reason, was it not reliability?
I believe that the tower being down has something to do with the 25 project because they don't want people filming the construction site from that vantage point.
Delirium is supposedly getting new restraint pads put in which is a slow process and I doubt that drop tower is down due to that accident in Orlando a couple of years ago because as far as I know all of the other intamin drop towers in the chain are currently open.
Yeah, Drop Tower is back open now, that could be an option, but it’s been down for a nice amount of time. Appreciate the update on Delirium though.
I don't think they would close the tower over construction on a new coaster on the complete other side of the park. Also if they really didn't want people to see what is going on wouldn't they have closed Reptilian too since the lift hill goes right next to the construction site?
Drop tower and windseeker are open, so I don't think it's project 25. I305, drop tower, and Eiffel tower have gotten extended ride delays and they're all manufactured by Intamin. Idk why they're taking so long for eiffel though.
So the tower is gonna be a lawn ornament this year while we have a coaster being constructed :/

Let's remember that the ET is an intamin product after all and we know how cedar fair feels about intamin products lately.
Apparently for Delirium last I herd they were waiting on a part from Mondial. Delirium has been down though since December of 2022. Canada's Wonderland's Psyclone is the exact same ride as Delirium and it has had little to no issues in the last few years. Delirium at this point the last time any updates to it happened were weeks ago with the seat bottoms laying out on the ride platform. Last I saw no more work has been done. If Mondial and Kings Dominion don't get to work in a few weeks I could see this being scrapped entirely. It was one of my favorite rides there however with it being down this long I just don't see hope for it. When do you think it will open? If it opens at all again.
I honestly would rather have a brand new free spins at this point lol, one that’s taller, longer ride duration, and has more spaced seats. This ride literally is cooking in the sun at this point haha.
I was just thinking about Psyclone… if only Delirium could have a better upkeep like that lol
