@@AngeloGiles Yeah, they're LSM (electro-magnets) and magnetic brakes. Only the friction brakes have hydraulics (the ones that go inside the box track itself) ;)
@@BikerFail16 Oh yeah? I'm not sure that's coolant pumping. I assumed it was wire conduit for the heavy gauge wires. I don't think they have to cool the electromagnets because they only operate once per minute or two for 5 seconds. I don't see/never have seen any radiators or radiating fins.
Man, things are really heating up in jungle expedition. I was not expecting Kings Dominion to get a B&M launch wing coaster.
Yeah, they’re rolling now!
Props to cedar fair man. They made that area look really good
So much is happening in that area right now I really gotta check it out for myself pronto
Awesome update thanks brother! Hope the coasters theming is elite, some great stuff out of the launch tunnel etc. needs to live up to volcano.
Damn I was really hoping it would be blue or light blue😂 I’m not huge on the color but we’ll see how it looks when it’s completed
The tubes next to the lsm fins are coolent conduits to keep them cool. They heat up quite quickly because of the high electricity passing through.
A liquid cooled coaster haha
@@AngeloGiles it’s usually liquid inside the white lsm fins and air in those tubes, I’m pretty sure.
W Angelo for giving us these updates 🙏
No problem, appreciate y’all for watching!
LSM staters
3:40 Hydraulics? Hehe. Looks like a double launch sitting there. 4:28 You can see the switch track piece. Likely just for the maintenance shed though.
I figured that wasn’t right lol.

The launch fins looks water cooled! I think he was just looking at the coolant plumbing.

@@jonny-b4954after looking closer they look temporary. Maybe for shipping protection?
