@@yumallah did you watch the end of higurashi sotsu? It's made 100% clear that bernkastel and lambdadelta are the parts that split off from rika and satoko and became witches.
@@1112-m6p Have you read the Umineko extra arc 'Memoirs of the Lambdadelta'? It's made 100% clear that Lambdadelta is an entity far older than Bernkastel, and was old enough to have gifted the gift of certainty to a young Tanashi Miyoko, later Takano Miyo. Also, you can't possibly deny that Lambdadelta is physically much more similar to Takano, or at least her child form, than to Satoko, and her name also means '34', just like Takano's does. My personal take on this issue is that Lambdadelta is a very old witch, whose exact origins we don't know as of now, who has ties to both Takano and Satoko, whom she used as her pieces on the Higurashi game board at different points, as well as to Vier Dreissig (who is physically identical to Takano) and Jestress (who looks a lot like Tanashi Miyoko/Lambdadelta) from Ciconia no Naku Koro ni.
In the latest Higurashi Gou Ed 2 Irregular Entropy the lyrics said " I repeat infinitely in this miniature garden " and it was confirmed it was talking of the fake Zen miniature garden and here the lyrics say " You hate this endlessly recurring miniature garden " . @@brentpeterson918 not exactly, yes its very implied in gou that satoko will later turn into lambdadelta, but that doesn't explain her relation with takano. im guessing shes some kind of amalgamation of both takanos and satokos will to keep rika trapped in a bird cage

@@LHColliderX well... Infinitely repeating decimals are numbers that have a pattern after the decimal point, because they can't be divided completely and go on forever. The simplest infinitely repeating decimal is 0.333333...., and it's the simplest because it uses the 2 smallest natural numbers needed to create an infinitely repeating decimal - 1 and 3, or 1/3. It's a math "problem" that loops forever, but the only way to solve it is to end the cycle by 'rounding it off'. And when rounded off, the number can end at 0.34.

@@Anonymous_P Okay, let's go: First of all, *nothing* in Gou/Sotsu outright confirms that Lambdadelta and Satoko are directly tied to each other in the same way, say Bernkastel and Rika are. What's most likely going on is that Lambda is simply using Satoko as a new piece in order to beat Rika/Bernkastel, after her previous piece, which is obviously Takano, had failed. Yes, no matter what you say, you can't deny that physically Lambda looks identical to young Takano/Tanashi Miyoko, and not Satoko, whom she doesn't resemble at all. Then, once again, appearance aside, we can't put aside all the evidence that connects Lambda to Takano. First off, in The First and the Last Gift, an Umineko short story which also serves as the prologue to the manga Hotarubi no Tomoru Koro ni, we see Bern and Lambda preparing for a new game and discussing the pieces they're going to take, and Lambda picks a certain Takano Miyo, who is identical in appearance to the Takano from Higurashi but differs in occupation, and refers to her as 'her other self'. Keep in mind, this short story is absolutely canon, and we cannot ignore it. Then, we also need to remember that in Umineko it's mentioned that Lambda was the greatest witch for a very long time before Bern appeared on the stage, so it's heavily implied that she is an entity far, far older than Bern. I could provide more evidence for the Takano connection if you'd like, but the point is that even if Satoko in Gou/Sotsu has some sort of connection to Lambda, it's *certainly* not as in being her 'human self' or 'witch self', it's just as being her piece.
@@yumallah nah bro the takano connection is the same connection between erika furudo and bernkastel. Takano is Lambda's piece. Lambda basically confirms shes a seperate entity from takano in memoirs. And the cake riddle in the original higurashi confirms that Lambda was dormant in satoko even then. I get not liking gousotsu but it basically confirms lambdatoko beyond a shadow of a doubt. Her being an entity older than bern is explained with ciconia's vier, who featherine directly states that satoko IS.

Possible spoilers for Gou, be warned: Ok, does that mean that Sotsu is going to end in a draw? It was stated in Umineko Bernkastel won against Lambdadelta but maybe that was a lie or maybe it was a draw because Lambda decided to pause the game but Rika was the one who convinced/conned her to do it or just waited her out (she did win an "endurance contest"). Or maybe Lambda was like "I am totally winning but since I am so gracious I will offer you a draw" while getting her ass kicked. So many possibilities for what "let's call it a draw" could mean. But yeah, I think the most likely option would some kind of mix of waiting/tiring Satoko out and convincing her to stop being a bitch looking at the context of the line.
so bern has said that she won against lambda bc she won an endurance test. satoko slipped up by thinking she was smarter than rika and having an advantage over rika’s “powers”. so satoko loses. i’m assuming featherine then splits the dark parts of their personality so their human forms can be free and have an entity full of hate/mischief
