- If the covenant found Earth, instead of Harvest in the Year 2525, Things would get a little...Johnson-y. Follow along with Johnson and Forge as they attempt to retake Earth From the Alien war Aftermath.
fun scenario would be if humanity discovered the covenant first and knew of their intentions before hand.

Six had been on the infinity when it was being attacked by the banished. Like the chief still loses the fight with Atriox but just when he is about to toss the chief out into space Six stops him and chief recovers so both of them fight Atriox.

I liked how the video started off with the Jackals discovering earth and First Contact going badly. If you ever do videos with Jackal characters you should train the ai voices on their lines from Infinite/5 since they talked in those games. It’s too bad that we don’t really have any Jackal centric stories. Sure, there’s a few named characters in the books/comics,. But, most of the time they’re just treated as cannon fodder. There’s a lot of cool stuff that could be done with them since they’re mercenaries/pirates.
Good video. The person that requested this had a good idea to focus more on the unaugmented human side. It shows that the Halo universe isn’t just a Spartan centric story. Good luck on part 2 electric boogaloo and same goes for your other videos.
Do you think you’d ever do a what if for the UNSC and Insurrectionists having a full scale civil war? It’s really interesting how had the Covenant not shown up we would’ve gotten an apocalyptic war with both sides continuing to escalate things and all kinds of truly nasty war crimes being committed. It’s a shame that outside of the terrible show and a few books we basically never see stuff with the Rebels and how Spartans were designed to crush them. You’d think they’d delve more into that because it’s so instrumental to a good chunk of the lore.
Do you think you might incorporate Digsite content into any future videos since 343 recently canonized a bunch of that stuff? Maybe if there’s a special mission we could see stuff like the Slugman (now a Lekgolo formation that was super rare and all records of them were destroyed when High Charity fell), and some of the weapons/vehicles included. That way they wouldn’t be crammed into the main narrative and feel out of place.

The jackals have some qualities that are hated by people simply because of how oppurtonistic they are in nature, but i Think they can make a fun little alliance. I wrote a story as part of My "Stories in the Halo Universe" that directly 100% focuses of Jaackals and Grunts, and another story that is just about being behind enemy lines, that focuses on marines playing chess with the Jackals. as in they have to be smart about fighting one another, humans are out gunned but outnumber the jackals, and the jackals are having an internal dispute. I dont wanna spoil it cause one day I will make a video on it.
Thanks for the good luck wishes, and yeah i think this was a good idea to finally focus on tellign a more human Story. However, I felt like it NEEDED Spartans at the end for what i have planned on the next chapter.
I do have "What If the covenant Hadnt shown up?" ad one of my major topics i wanna tackle, just havent really had the time to go back and research the insurrection, besides reading the triology of the Aftermath of the human covenant war. I am not very familiar with their standing in the universe before 2525. I did recently re read Fall of Reach and Contact at harvest so I have a pretty good Idea of who they are, but to make a full vidoe I would want to feel more confident in writing them.
As far as digsite goes, I dont know really. I feel like I like coming up with my own random vehicles, weapons, and enermy types (flood BEars in the linda Timeline) But its not out of the question.

Makes sense. A big chunk of why the UNSC was able to survive as long as they did was the Spartans. Without them various operations would’ve been completely impossible and they would’ve been wiped out in an endless war of attrition. I like seeing the perspective of normal humans, but Spartans are absolutely necessary to Halo’s story. I just wish we got too see more of the different groups involved.
Makes sense. It’s definitely pretty hard to get information on something that’s mostly just referenced in passing. It’s definitely one of those things where you’d probably have to really stretch the canon to make a cohesive story out of it. It’s interesting whenever a fanfiction tries to expand upon something we know very little about. Some interpretations are really good and others can be pretty bad. Either way it can be intriguing to see what kinds of ideas people come up with. I also like how a lot of fanfictions and fan theories reflect what was current lore at the time and how people thought about the series in that moment. They definitely make for some interesting time capsules.
Maybe you could add some of the Digsite vehicles and weapons into a potential UNSC vs Rebels story to make the conflict feel more fleshed out. There’s also a lot of cool fanon designs people have used for Arma 3 mods that expand upon a human vs humans conflict (although, a big chunk of that is because designing new enemies is pretty hard since animations are a nightmare to code in that engine so people mostly stuck with the base human models and build everything around that. I LOVE seeing what kinds of things grow out of people building around various limitations). Any crazy sci-fi weapons could probably be the result of reverse engineering Forerunner technology that either side finds. Maybe you could also have the Spartans use the Orion armor (Macworld armor that 343 canonized during some event for MCC) since they wouldn’t have Covenant technology to upgrade it with shields so they’d probably use an older design.
The only other place I can think of for information on the Insurrectionists is the show, but that isn’t canon and most people (myself included) didn’t like it for various reasons. Maybe if done right you could salvage Kwan with her main motivation being revenge for Chief killing her mom and wanting independence for her world. Any mystical elements would need to be removed, or have their explanation be said people disguising advanced technology as magic. There’s various ideas people had for improving the terrible show you could draw from, but it’s perfectly understandable if you don’t want to go anywhere near it. The best comparison I can think of is how there’s some really good stuff on Deviantart, but you’ll have to swim through a literal ocean of garbage to find it so there’s not much worth saving (I LOVE that dumpster fire website SO MUCH😂🤣). Or you could compare it to how there were some good ideas in 5, but if you were to scrap it all together not much would be lost.

they'd know what to do.
with the insurrection bombing everything left, right & center the UNSC was already on a warpath.
due to the nature of such attacks, they would already be vigilant against tactics & stratagems that the flood usually employs.
they would catch onto the flood's Motus operandi pretty quickly & purge them in fire.
they would send the Spartans & ODST's to prevent the capture of void capable craft & keep an orbital quarantine with a fleet under preston cole.
who may i remind everyone is a genius at naval warfare which includes blockades & preventing boarding's.

@@IvanicohG I have mixed feelings about him. He’s good to his men but he can be closed minded. He also has high ambitions which while for the greater good, seem to paint him as the hero and many a soldier will tell that you never want to share a fox hole with a hero. That doesn’t mean his plan didn’t have any merit though. He was making the best out of what he could to an astonishing amount of success for just a few hundred men against a covenant fleet.
@@fourthofjulygaming3795 problem with that is that he would be driving a flood infested ship (they could & would go into hibernation to evade detection & discovery) straight into human space.
which simultaneously renders the Cole protocol useless since the flood does not need computers or star charts to learn where every population center is.

Hey i just got done watching 40 minutes of this video and i love it but there are some things i want to talk about 1 for chips dubbo in your what if so far you seem to think there is only 1 chips dubbo but in lore there is multiple ( that's how he can die and come back) but i love your version of chips dubbo he sounds like a bad ass that actually been though every thing ( instead of being at every thing) 2 thanks for adding all the small characters but don't make all the big characters like master chief disaster out of the story maybe have a part where the marines talk about what he did for earth and how amazing he is

I was gonna add it but I was so tired of editing it. I just wanted it out. I was actually gonna break it into 3 parts narratively which I felt worked a LOT better but I just wanted it out and ready. But you’re absolutely right.
