Many thanks for this posting, proving that Ofra could readily adapt to the classical genre like a fish to water ( sorry!!). Seriously though, it's easy to imagine that with her acting skills, natural charisma and good looks, combined with that stupendous mezzo-soprano voice, she would have been sensational in the roles of any of the renowned operatic heroines such as "Carmen", "Aida", "Madama Butterfly", "Tosca" etc. I'm sure that crowds worldwide would have flocked to the opera houses in their thousands! If only --------😢 ,
