25 days ago, I put this piece on for my grandmother. Little did I know she would pass away during the last seconds of it. While I am heartbroken, I am also very glad she got to leave us with such angelic and peaceful sounds, surrounded by her family after 97 years of war, traveling, being an incredible mother and grandmother. Rest in peace, Oma.

There is a book called “Serenade” written by famous Turkish writer Zülfü Livaneli. It was so touching story tells a kinda love story between Jewish women and German professor in WWII. I cried every page that I read. Before I read the book, I was listening this music without intense emotions but now everything is more meaningful thanks to book. SERENADE FÜR NADIA THANK YOU ZULFU LIVANELI FOR BEING A REASON OF MEETING THIS BEAUTIFUL SONG.
How wonderful Ben, to have connected your book and music, there is no greater joy. Try “ Cry to Heaven “ and listen to the soundtrack of Farinelli. The book is salty in parts but does take you to a part of history that is rarely talked about. Happy Christmas. X
Thanks Jenny for your advice. I will definitely read and listen. The history has always been one of my greatest interests. Happy Christmas to you too. 🎁 🎄
No, but they make music that is just as good in other styles, and you have the entire Romantic corpus to listen to right here on youtube, which is more than Schubert could ever have dreamt.

Working in long-term healthcare, I have had two residents who preferred classical music. I briefly understood the importance of it. Now both of these amazing women have since passed away. They gave me an incredibly important understanding of how/why classical music and their composers are so important. Every time I clean my apartment, or study for college courses, I am immersed in such beautiful pieces as this. Thank you tremendously A.E.C and M.A.M. You both, will be missed dearly, but your memory and legacy lives through these pieces. Thank you, and I love you both. Rest easy little ladies.

@@christophmessner6450 You cannot explain creation by an infinite regression of creators. Likewise, you don't explain a moving wagon by an infinite chain of wagons pulling the one before them, if there is no locomotive at the start, there is no movement. Also, only things with a begining have a cause and only things created can have a creator. A timeless, eternal God doesn't have a begining : He is. And He is the ultimate cause at begining of everything, the unmovable mover, the hand that makes the first domino topple.
You can hear the grass growing, the wind through the leaves, the spring coming down the hill. A nature serenade! Thank you for a piece of eternity that you shared with us.
Yeah kinda reminds me of the Pikmin games. It's a survival/strategy about post-apocalyptic Earth where you are a tiny alien and you have collect ship parts in the first game, collect treasure in the second, and collect fruit in the third. One of the biggest things in it is the scenery, which the third has mastered (because it's the latest one). I always get this feeling of bliss and happiness when playing them, and it reminds me of Spring when nature is flourishing: the leaves are swaying, the grass is green, the rivers are tinkling, and the climate is perfect. It made me appreciate nature a little more

Schubert was ingenious by mixing joy and melancholy in this beautiful masterpiece. Yet, I wonder if there is an opus that continues the melancholic tone of the start.
Also??

The composers of Classical Music were inspired by God's spirit.
Well... maybe Air by Bach and certainly Handel's Messiah. Can't speak for the rest.
God and Goddess and their parents and grandparents, since nothing can create itself out of itself.
