That "weird loop" in the left bank's exhaust piping is the reason it sounds so good... Jeep made the left and right sides equal length. It improves exhaust scavenging and spaces the pulses equally, which makes the note as smooth as possible, hence the excellent sound. If you delete the cats (which I do not recommend), don't get rid of that loop of pipe!

It DOES sound very similar to a GT-R! I think part of the reason is the crazy shapes and bends on the headers/down pipes:
Like you pointed out the passenger side pipe is extended across to the driver side, and the driver side pipe does that loop after the cat and before the Y connection. I believe that driver side loop is on purpose so that both pipes are equal length between each cat and the Y connection.
The equal length pipes help the internal acoustics of the exhaust, the driver and passenger exhaust pulses don’t interfere with each other so you get the nice GT-R like rumble instead of a sloppy exhaust sound, I think...... someone please correct me or elaborate further if I’m wrong!

This engine with the y-pipe into a single exhaust sounds good with a Super 10 too, seen that on a number of Avengers and 200s with this engine, a lot with the center resonator pulled as well.

Mike, you need/should get a programmer for the tire size. That’s a huge size difference and you can disable TPMS as well since you don’t have sensors in. Tazer would be a good one to go with. Have it on my JL and it works awesome. Also gives you some other little features.
The before clip had more wind noise from the exhaust than engine noise

I have a 2018 V6 Charger. I first took off both mufflers, and added a bullet muffler. Liked the sound, then decided to straight pipe it. Its loud but it makes good sounds.

That's what I did when I had my 2012 G37s and my 2018 Grandsport. Both sounded awesome. On the Vette I put Corsa Extreme tips and it came out looking cool and sounding like a beast.

Putting the resonator back on kills it. It's so quiet that you might as well save the $15 and 20 min and not even remove the mufflers.

Use the band clamps next time they are very strong, seal better and dont require the adaptor. I must say that really sounds great! Thats by far the best sounding 15 dollar exhaust mod you have done so far! Really sounds good !

I paid 60 bucks for a muffler delete and a 5” black tip on my 2012 ram 1500. The shop gave me new piping from where the muffler was to the tip and I’ve received compliments on how clean it sounds ever since. It doesn’t give off that ugly clap but it’s a loud very low pitched growl. Best 60 bucks I’ve spent on her
