- FINALLY! A Jeep that sounds GOOD and not like a trombone LOL. It is simple though, this isn't a crazy loud exhaust set up... but that's kinda the point? We installed the Injen High Tuck Exhaust and the Injen Evolution intake on the Jeep and I couldn't be happier! Check them out!

I love the videos Robbie and I’m so glad you’re back, one word of advice I can give is loosen or do the oil filter first on the jeeps because they hold pressure and if you loosen it after you drained the pan all that oil in the filter system will now drop into the pan so do the filter first. I’m sorry if you already knew this or I’m wrong about it I’ve only been a mechanic for 2 years now.

I think most people can fully respect that bud. I've been in a position of doing what I wanted for a living but it definitely ate into the passion that drove me to where I was in the first place. Glad that you were able to truly take time to reflect and look at what you want to do. Been here since the early BC jasmine days and love the content. That's the best sounding growl I've heard from a car.
I bought a Injen cold air intake for my 2017 Silverado 5.3 and you could hear a complete difference when you would step on the gas. When I did a straight pipe with a resonator and muffler delete you obviously couldn’t really tell anymore. I never had a single engine code the entire time it was installed either. The nano web filters last 100,000 miles and maybe once a year blow it out with my air compressor.
I recently traded it in for a custom ordered Gobi Mojave Gladiator, and I just got my Injen Evo cold air intake delivered yesterday. I’m really pumped to get some free time and put it in.

That's pretty damn good. You can definitely hear the suck. On my mazdaspeed 3 it's the same way if you only add a stock size cai not only can you hear the intake whistle but the factory diverter valve makes a tiny bov sound.

And if you are not a jeep fan, it gets a bit on the boring side. At least thats how i feel about it, i'm gonna wait till the jeep thing passes to watch again. My GTI is the first car I’ve had where I’ve actually loved an aftermarket intake, strictly because of the turbo noises lol. Whooopshhhh

Our yj had an intake like this and we loved the sound and power. So I can imagine what the jl would be like with this set up.

The biggest sound difference on my GTI was the intake! Insane turbo sounds especially after tune!
Yep I did intake on mine just to accentuate the turbo noises. Nothing better than turbo noises. Well, a good V8 or turbo I5 is great sound too.
