- This week I'm at Shoalstone pool in Brixham, Devon where I enter a fastasy world of minimalist photography. Using long exposures and some simple editing, I hope I have created some unworldly images using very little effort.

Wonderful images, especially the diamond shaped image was my favorite.
Thank you. Mine too.
Fab work Simon, I noticed the railings against the sky and glad you spotted them too, they came out well. Really liked full steam ahead. I'm very surprised you weren't fighting off open water swimmers at the edge of the pool. Great video and so inspiring 👌 cheers John
One lady came to check the life rings and swim, but graciously allowed me to continue filming. Thank you for your kind comments.
That shot at 6:00 is sublime
Thank you, I'm always looking for something a little different in my photography.
Fabulous images Simon.
May I ask, are these images only possible at high tide and receeding tide please, rather than low tides.
Thanks
Graham.
These were taken a high tide. I did not check the actual height of the tide that day, but the higher the better the images you can get. You'll need to use an ND filter if shooting in the daylight to slow the shutter speed down. I started an hour before sunrise so could use the natural light (or dark) if you see what I mean.
