Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel! In this video we go over step-by-step instructions on how to remove and modify the fat suit padding for The Mandalorian by Hot Toys in order to improve his articulation and posing abilities. Although the "Beskar Deluxe" figure is featured, this modification process also works for the original Durasteel Mandalorian!

What I like about these videos is they show how durable Hot Toys really are. We tend to handle them with kid gloves, but they can actually be pushed pretty hard without having to worry.
The end result is great! It makes the helmet look like theres actually a person underneath in there now, not just all one piece.
It physically hurts me to watch someone cut a part of a hot toy figure, even if it is for the better good
All these people modding their figures. You can do what you want. Just know you void the after market value.
For all that are just now receiving their Mandos, try medical bandage tape, get it in black, and adhere accordingly. It’ll look neater, and hold better. As an aspiring tattoo artist, they use this to help on the grip of the machine and last for an eternity if applied tightly!

I notice that your Deadpool is posed in some weird way. Are you not scared that his costume will get damaged from posing it for long time?

All I take away from this is video is, Hot Toys could have just added more accessories with either Mando and charge a bit more. It would have been cheaper than getting 2. All that velcro there 😂 and amazing tutorial Peter!!
This extensive step by step is sooo appreciated, I will 100%be doing this & would have NEVER had the balls to try it without a guide.
You can tell Hot Toys goes above and beyond since the whole undressing and dressing probably is how the actual costume is wore.
These figures have so much more value when you pose them well and you absolutely nail every section of that detolf. Great stuff as always, and thanks again Peter!
Just got this amazing figure set yesterday, and I immediately ran here to this video to remove the fat-suit today. I absolutely LOVE it MORE now! I'm so happy you tutorial was here and that I made this mod. I just went with removing the suit, not cutting it up, but putting it back in the box, just to hold onto. Thanks again! Great tutorial. Not having tried modifications to figures before, this was an excellent guide 👍 Once I get the figure, I'd feel confident trying this

Massive thank you for uploading this tutorial. It gave me the knowledge and confidence to modify my Beskar Mando. Blown away with the results. It makes a world of difference. In addition, I cut the remaining fat suit into a 'singlet' to bulk out the torso. Once you re-sew the stitching at the back it's nice and secure. Thanks again.
